Zoey gave a shrug. "You're already holding it. Why don't you take it?" She offered.

Gemma was somewhat shocked by her generosity, trying to stammer out a refusal. "I-I couldn't possibly! I mean it belongs to the store right?"

"And as the owner I say it's yours now!" Zoey shot back, refusing to take a now, "Besides, you could do with some extra accessories. Now put it on! Put it on!!"

Gemma sighed, knowing that she couldn't turn down her insistent friend. Undoing the clasp she quickly wrapped the chain around her neck and closed it. The weight felt a bit off against her chest. A cold seemed to flow from the necklace into her chest, like someone had opened a window into her.
