Gather a few things and leave quickly.

There is no time to think thoroughly of what you might need. You grab your wallet, your coat and also remember to reach for your small office suitcase with the laptop inside. Then you head straight for the door and jump into your car.

As the engine starts, you still expect someone to open the door and pull you out - or stop you by standing right behind. Maybe, you think, you are in fact ready to run over such a person. Everything to make sure that no one ever will try to subjugate you, **** you or whatever there happened back in the house.

But no one stops you.

You leave the house behind you, speeding along the road, out of your suburb, onto the next highway, and then... where, indeed?

Now that you managed to escape your own home, you realize that you don't have a plan. You are running away from what seems to be a whole conspiracy - but where should you be running to? What can be your next step. Should you leave the city? Or find some place to crash? Is there anyone you can trust?

You don't even pay attention to the road anymore, as you are pondering these questions. But sooner or later, you'll have to reach a decision.
