Any last minute troubles?
Gate Issues!
As you reach the top of these gorgeous white marble steps you look up, staring at the entrance into the High Abbey of Gerlangen, the beautiful, bigger and most well secured Abbey of the lands. You were in awe at the sight around you as not only did you think your Abbey was beautiful, this place was magnificent and so far you were only looking at the outside of it.
"HALT!" a feminine voice yells out as you hear the sound of metal footsteps echoing off the ground. As you stay unmoving, you notice two Gerlangen Paladin's walking your direction. The two of them were decked out in proper Paladin gear, head to toe with full steel armor, a top-heavy mace in one hand and a kite shield in the other. "Demon filth!" she screams out as she takes a step towards the Imp and raises her weapon in the air.
"No!" you shout as you step in front of the Imp, shielding him from your sister, "He's a friend! He's a friend!" you shout over and over again.
"Friend?!" the other sister baffles out, "He's a demon!" she snarls, "He's infected your mind! Stand back sister, we shall vanquish it!!!"
"NO!" you shout again, "He is a demon, yes!" you stomp your foot on the ground, not backing down one bit, "But he helped me on my journey and if it wasn't for him, I most likely wouldn't be here today!" you continue your **** of words, "My Abbey, the Burning Rose has been attacked. Thoros has returned! Demons have flooded into our halls and have taken over the entire area." you tell them the story, "My war mother, God rest her soul..." you tilt your head down and whisper a soft prayer, "Gave me one final quest, to get the Sword of St Magdalena here to Gerlangen and deliver it to the Supreme War Mother! If she has control of this holy relic, she can unite all the Abbey's and march onto Thoros to finally vanquish the foe once and for all!"
"I-I don't..." The Paladin takes a step back, "No way, this demon has infected you. You are under his spell!"
"Take me to the Supreme War Mother!" you shout back, "This is urgent!"
"No." she replies immediately, "You and your demon friend aren't getting inside the High Abbey. We will never allow such filth in our halls."
You grip the Sword of St Magdalena and rip the cloth wrap that you had covering it. As you do you hold the Sword up high in the air, showcasing off the holy relic to the two Paladin's guarding the entrance. As you hold it high into the air, the gorgeous falling rays of light from the sun sparkle and glisten off the beautifully crafted sword. "Bring me to the Supreme War Mother!" you shout again.
One of them must have recognized the sword because she placed her hand across the other ones chest, causing her to step back, "Sister, that is the holy relic..." she whispers out, "They wouldn't give that out to a random sister unless..." she pauses, thinking briefly. "Come with us, quick!" she motions you and the Imp to follow, "Paladin Ester, keep your eyes on the Imp, don't let him out of your sight and if he tries something once inside, kill him."
"With pleasure, Helen." Paladin Ester replies with a growl in her voice.
"Trust me, you have my word he won't do anything suspicious, he's an ally." you grumble out as you and the Imp follow behind this so called Paladin Helen who recognized the Sword of St Magdalena and right on your heels is Paladin Ester, watching your back but mainly keeping an eye out for the demon who is now entering inside the High Abbey of Gerlangen.
Anything happen on your walk through the Abbey?
