Gartha forces you into a hunt

“Up and at um lazy bastard” Gartha yells as she dumps a bucket of water onto you. “We’re going on a hunt”.

“Ugh why did you...” You say as you survey your now wet armor.

“It’s a hot day, you’ll be fine. If anything, I did you a favor. You’re welcome Yorrick, you can thank me later. Now get moving we’re leaving now” Gartha says as she leaves your tent.

You quickly make yourself look presentable and you leave your tent and see Usaria rushing up to you. You see her beautiful body jiggling towards you and your mind wanders to last night causing you to blush as she nears.

“Yorrick, I discovered something incredible last night. You must have an insanely large mana pool, I’ve only ever head of one Hero of legend who could even compare. Your crystal is still there this morning, it’s truly incredible” Usaria says with a lot of excitement.

“Wow really” you say “Gartha is taking me on a hunt and they are trying to leave now I kinda gotta go but we should discuss this later” You say trying to end this interaction, you begin heading towards Gartha and the group of hunters.

“What!? You're going on this hunt” Usaria exclaims “Gartha!?”

Usaria aggressively pulls Gartha aside and they have a very heated discussion. In the end it seems Gartha convinced Usaria and she returns saying “ok newbie lets go”.

Gartha and her hunters take you into the nearby mountain range. They have 2 pack horses with you loaded with saddlebags and furs. You travel for 3 days up 1 of the mountains Gartha informed you was called Mt Ged’Duthor (it means Gate to Hell in Orcish but you don't know that, isn’t ignorance bliss). At the end of the 3 days of travel Gartha gathers you all together to strategize for the hunt, it seems they are going to be hunting something during its hibernation so it should allow for some good pot shots before it wakes up. The strategy meeting isn’t that complicated but it doesn’t really seem to have you in it anywhere.

“What do you want me to do, Gartha” you ask.

“You’re our ace in the hole, I want you to run up and give it the strongest hit you can muster to start all of this off and then back off, in case of an emergency I would like you to try and throw one more but that shouldn’t be necessary” she says with a giddy excitement in her voice.

You all rest for the night and as the mountain is very cold the hunters (and you) have been sleeping under a large array of hides using each other's body heat to keep the group warm throughout the cold bitter nights. This night there is a restless excitement in the group which is palpable and it’s hard for anyone to get sleep but eventually it takes you.
