Game on!

"We have to do something like that again," Mai said, actual twinges of excitement in her voice, "Soon." I chuckled and bent down, kissing the top of her head making a bright blush break out across her cheeks, "We will, but trust me if you ride too many times without being used to them you get one hell of a headache." Mai started to pout but apparently her adrenaline rush had worn off, her face returning to its stony visage and her sigh back as she spoke with a dull monotone, "Alright John, so then what now?"

I thought for a moment, sure I would like to get something to eat but if I remembered correctly the games and the food were within the same general area. Why not make a stop before grabbing some delicious park food? "How about we play some games then get something to eat?" I asked, looking at Mai, "You could always win something there." A slight nod was all Mai's answer consisted of, her arms wrapping around my own and allowing me to lead her around the park towards our destination.

Soon enough we arrived at the multitude of games, from the large indoor arcade to the numerous stalls that held the basic water shoot and dart throwing games. For a moment I considered how bad of a sport it would be to let Mai have hand at the dart throwing games, it was very unlikely that she would miss at all given her accuracy with her knives. That passed the second Mai gently started to pull at my arm, leading me away from the stalls and into the arcade, apparently on a path towards something she had seen that had interested her.

She had a habit of doing that I noticed, not that I minded but it was just one of those quirks you started to notice after a while. Sure enough Mai ended up in front of a machine that to some was fun, to others was ****. The claw machine stood before us as Mai pointed to it, "What is this?" "This is called a claw machine," I explained, pointing to the controls, "These are the controls and you use them to try to pick up the stuff that is inside. If you're luck you can win something."
