Gabbing With Gabbie

“Like, can you fucking believe that?” I growled as me and Gabbie start walking through campus. Basically two weeks had gone by since the event, but it was still fresh in my mind… the way he took me… the way I let a man I’ve never met before use me… but I couldn’t get my Daddy to believe it wasn’t my fault! The rest of the night was just awkward silence until I went up to my room.

“I can’t believe it!” Gabbie said with a smirk as she walked slightly ahead of me, as I was trudging behind her lost in my thoughts. “Your bitch of a mother actually went out and found someone to fuck her? That must be one **** dude.” She said with a quick giggle, and I give her a very slight playful shove.

“Gabbie I’m serious! Because my mom is a total psycho-cunt Daddy has me on a very short leash! If I get into any trouble here then I’m gonna go to some sort of military school!” I say, the anger that I had been suppressing started to come to a boiling point again.

We had been back on campus for about a week now, and except for one small incident in the cafeteria where I accidentally threw a meatball at Michael Smith, the Universities star Wide Receiver, I’ve been doing everything in my power to keep myself out of trouble.

What? He was a wide receiver, I thought he could catch it! Besides, he was making fun of Gabbie’s viral video!

“Bitch, fucking relax! It’s the first week of classes, and you’re already totally killing the vibe.” Gabbie said, rolling her eyes softly as she continued to strut in front of me, waving to just about everyone that she passed.

Gabbie was my best friend, but we couldn’t be any less alike. She was pretty, smart, popular, and even rich! God blessed her with just about every possible ego-boost one could have! Everyone on campus knew her and loved her, and I was just the little golumn behind her that people’s eyes just totally skip past.

“I’m sorry just…” I hesitate a little bit as I watch a group of guys wave at her with a snicker, knowing that they saw the video too. Gabbie didn’t seem to mind though, she just waves and keeps walking. “How do you do that?” I ask, raising an eyebrow, which causes Gabbie to freeze and turn around.

“Do what?” She asks, cocking her head to the side as she looks at me with a truly puzzled look on her face.

“Not care… people are snickering and laughing and watching and… you don’t care?” I ask, raising an eyebrow slightly, and to my dismay Gabbie just shrugs and keeps walking.

“I’m popular, babes. People watch the popular person.” She chuckles as she waves to another group. God she may as well be a real celebrity here! “People look at you too… you just aren’t noticing it.” She giggles and points to a group… of nerds who were waving at me.

“Those guys are part of my DnD club, Gabs.” I say, hesitantly waving back at them before they scurry off. “It’s not like they are anyone to be writing home about.” I scoff, which just makes Gabbie giggle again.

“Oh come on! You are like so totally hot! We just need to change your image a bit.” Gabbie says before turning around and grabbing my hands quickly with a smirk. “Shopping day??? Totally on me! I’ll make you look so fucking hot!”

“Gabbie I don’t know… what about-“ I start to say, but before I could finish Gabbie put a finger to my lips and held it there as she smirked.

“No buts! Unless that butt is getting in my car to head to the mall with me!” She says, grabbing my ass lightly and playfully which made me giggle a bit.

“Fine, fine! But I’m broke right now so it better be on you.” I tease, poking her in her oversized bust to watch it jiggle.

“Duh! It’s totally on me! Just say you owe me one.” She says, wrapping her arm around my waist as she leads me to the parking lot.
