GOOD vs. Evil and the Reason why Superheroes Exist in this Universe

Just to make things clear, this is not a dark, edgy, morally grey, post-modern deconstructionist, """realistic""" superhero universe like something out of 'The Boys', the Snyderverse or Watchmen, Vixen Comics is a superhero story for people who genuinely love superheroes and are looking for a superhero story that - for the most part - embraces things like escapism, structuralism and Judeo-Christian values (objective truth, a clear line between what is right and what is wrong, etc.). Not saying that you can't write mature stories that lean into the dark, gritty or edgy - you can, it just can't be TOO dark, depressing, nihilistic or edgy for edgy sake. Yeah this is a public story but if you're someone who's a doomer, nihilist or unironically one of those "Thanos/Killmonger/ZOD/INSERT ANIME VILLAIN HERE was right/misunderstood." then this story isn't for you.

Here, good is naturally the default as the universe is ruled over by a Supreme Being simply known as "I AM". "I AM" is an all-powerful, all-loving and purely benevolent God who is the ultimate source of truth, hope, justice, light, etc. He created the multiverse not out of boredom, but because He was lonely and wanted companionship, GENUINE companionship, which is why despite having a plan for everything, He gave the universe free-will as life without choice isn't really living. Evil came later as a result of free-will and only exists & thrives cause He allows it to as it makes things more interesting.

While Vixen Comics has no fixed end date as its stories & characters are intended to keep going forever (that is of course unless CHYOA crashes permanently), canonically the "official end" of the universe is how it ends in the Book of Revelation from the Bible, ultimately culminating with the Second Coming and Judgement Day!

That's the plan, but thanks to free-will the future isn't set in stone and there are many supervillains and cosmic forces out there who have a vested interest in making sure that good's ultimate triumph never happens! That's where superheroes come in, as their ultimate purpose is making sure that everything goes according to plan.

(To clarify, this really isn't common in-universe knowledge, I'm just stating an out-of-universe fact)
