GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF!

I took a deep breath, trying to think. I knew what tea was. I knew how to get tea...but my mind was locking up on how to get it for Rav...Rachel. It was possible, I knew this. It was very easy to do, in fact. But how...?

It hit me like a ton of bricks. I've got people all over the god damn bookstore. They can get the tea. They can get it easily. I swallow hard, throat dry. "Well, no, but I can get you some if you'd like," I managed to answer. Raven's bluish lips twitched, almost curling into a smile. She turned her head a bit, hiding under her hood. Well...at least my stupid antics weren't upsetting her in any way. If anything, she was amused. That's good to know. "What kind do you like?"

Clearing her throat, Rachel turned those lovely lavender eyes my way. "Peppermint tea...or any green tea, really," she replied, "but you don't have to..." I was already reacting to the tea flavor at this point.

"Okay, don't go away, I'll be back with it!" I announced. The last thing I saw was Raven shrugging to herself and going back to her book before I headed off to find one of Fox's tag-alongs. About ten minutes later and I had the tea. I winced a little when I saw the container. She would probably prefer it in an actual tea cup...but I had wasted enough time just getting the tea.

She glanced up when I entered the room, letting the book float from her hands so that it would save her page without having to hold on to it. "I was starting to think you had forgotten about me," Rachel said as she took the cup from me. If the fact that it wasn't a tea cup bothered her, she wasn't showing it.

My expression must have changed when she spoke because she almost immediately continued. "But thank you, John. I appreciate it." She took a sip. "Mm. Alright...where was I?" I sat down, rather eager to hear what backstory she had been programmed with.
