Chapter 39

Who is he kidding?
Furniture Shopping And A Wild As Fuck Coincidence
Gray heard a muffled ‘Come in!’ and opened the door. He walked in and found himself in an office with walls made of dark wood and bookshelves of similar dark coloring. The floor was made of a slightly lighter wood. The ceiling was made with the same wood as the walls and a light fixture hung from the middle. At the far end, in front of a tall window with red curtains, sat a large desk with dark wooden panels and many papers strewn about with some semblance of order.
“Take a seat. I just need to finish this report, then we’ll be off.” The woman behind the desk called out. She was sat there and reading something on a holographic screen while looking over a physical document. The place she told him to sit was just in front of the desk. Two chairs with dark wood and red cushions were placed in front of her desk facing her.
Gray walked over and sat down on the one chair that gave him a good look at her face and bust. He settled down and wondered what he should be doing to pass the short time. He could play on his scroll, but he felt that would be a waste of this opportunity. A beautiful mature woman was sitting across from him. He could be staring at her sexy body. Only issue was that he hadn’t made any commands for her to be okay with him doing such things, mainly because he was still worried about things coming back to bite him in the butt.
He also didn’t want to keep his Semblance on if he was supposed to wait for her. What if she moves on to another job because he wasn’t on her radar anymore? So, he tried to think of something to do to pass the time and came to the conclusion that he may as well test a command on her. Something small and likely undetectable. Though, now that he thought about it, he did make her reveal her breasts to a whole class of students before. Something that no one had picked up on. Not the students and not the professors. Perhaps he was overthinking it.
He turned on his Semblance and double-checked himself for that blurry effect around his body. He looked at the woman behind the desk and muttered to himself. “Glynda Goodwitch is perfectly fine with me looking and staring at her with sexual interest. Glynda Goodwitch will never be upset or angry at me for staring at her body. Glynda Goodwitch trusts me completely even if I interact with her in a sexual way.”
He would stick with those for now. Once he was certain that his power was uncontested, he would give her all the other commands that he had used on Teams RWBY and JNPR. He released his Semblance and sat there staring at the woman's face. She really was a very pretty woman with her sharp eyes and clear skin. Her blonde hair was kept neat and tied up with a nice curl on the side. Her light green eyes were studying her documents thoroughly from behind her glasses. She had small green earrings that matched her eyes and the green pendant that was fixed to her white collar.
Further down, just below that collar and pendant was the chest window that allowed people to see a good deal of skin and a hint of cleavage. Her white top was formfitting and showed off the sexy form and shape of her breasts, withing reason. This was still a school with hormonal teenagers. She was pretty and sexy in her outfit, but not porn star levels of revealing. Still, Gray looked into that window of skin with much interest.
In the next couple of minutes, Glynda didn’t seem to mind that he was looking. He couldn’t see any discomfort or disapproval from her as she finished reading and typing on her computer. She simply ignored him for that time.
Eventually she shut down the holographic display and set aside her papers. She removed her glasses to massage her eyes before placing them back on her nose. She then looked to Gray.
“Thank you for waiting.”
Gray nodded.
“Now, we’ll be taking a commercial airship and hiring a car once we land. A car large enough for any boxes the bunk-beds will be in.” She told him, placing her hands together on the desk. “There is a furniture retailer that the academy orders from on occasion, but was there on in particular that you wanted to buy from?”
“Well, since I’ll be the one to eventually pay off the price, I don’t mind if we go to the most expensive one.” Gray said.
Glynda nodded. “I did a quick internet search for bunk-beds earlier and found that a few places stock them. Treasure Trove had the highest prices.”
Ah, Treasure Trove. That was definitely a higher-end store. The thought of going in there did make Gray sweat a little, but they did have the best from what he had seen. He was going to have to really think about money in the near future. There was the option of possibly using Weiss and her family connections to fund his future escapades, but that felt a little scummy to him. Although, if the rumors about the Schnee company were correct, then he wouldn’t be the scummiest out of the two of them.
Moral justifications aside, his morally grey powers could help him rack up funds in any number of questionable ways. He would need to think it over at some point.
“I think that's fine. Huntsmen can earn quite a bit of cash when we start doing missions, right?” He asked the older woman.
“Yes, once you become a second year, you’ll take on missions, but they won’t be the most profitable. Second years always start off with the safer tasks.” Glynda told him.
“Still, paying off some furniture should be doable.”
The professor didn’t have anything to say to that and just pushed her chair back to stand up.
“We had best be off then.”
They had walked side by side to the cliff side that the school sat close to. The whole way Gray had been looking the professor up and down while buzzing with horny excitement. Glynda Goodwitch really was a woman. She was in her prime with a body like hers. Her breasts were impressive, and her hips did things to him that made him wonder if he had an impregnation fetish or if that was just the effect wide feminine hips had on men. All he really knew was the strong desire he felt to cream pie her even as she walked.
And did she walk...
She probably wasn’t trying to arouse him, but the way she moved and jiggled with subtlety with each step was extremely unfair to his hormones.
Now they waited at one of the landing stations. Gray remembered being here days ago and felt some nostalgia about meeting Jeanne and playing with Yang and Ruby. That honestly felt like a lifetime ago.
A timetable nearby said that the next flight would arrive in less than ten minutes. So, the two of them sat on a bench found in the landing stations covered area. Covered in case the weather turned foul. It was a long walk back to the school for shelter.
While they waited, Gray thought it would be a great idea to get some answers out of Glynda. So, he turned his Semblance on and shifted closer to the woman next to him. He was now touching shoulders and legs with the woman and immediately felt his hormones flare up with need. He placed his hand on her thigh and squeezed that adult flesh.
“So, out of curiosity, do you have a boyfriend?” Was his first question.
“No.” Came a simple answer.
“A girlfriend?”
“No.”
She sat there and looked out across the large lake below the cliff. The view was breathtaking, and Gray did enjoy it, but the view down Glynda’s top with the cleavage cutout had his attention.
“Have you ever had a lover?”
“I have.”
“How many?
“Three.”
Really? That was all she had, even though she was an adult? He almost expected there to be... maybe double that. He didn’t quite know what the normal amount was for someone her age, but for her to only have one more lover than Yang did was a little surprising.
Actually...
“How old are you?” He asked, while feeling on edge due to how that sort of question would usually be taken by women. Without his Semblance.
“Forty-eight.”
She said it just as simply as the other answers she had given. Gray let out a breath of relief, but then had to do a double take. Forty-eight? She didn’t look that old. Surely. He looked closely at her face and noted some make-up, but not huge amounts. Her eyes didn’t seem to have any notable age lines and her skin looked healthy.
“Does that mean it's true that Aura can help slow down the aging process?” He asked her. It was something that had been talked about for a long time, but Gray had never heard a solid answer before.
“With regular Aura meditation, yes.”
That... was absolutely great. That meant his girls were going to be sexy for longer. He would have to join them in that routine without fail if he wanted to keep his own youthfulness.
“Does that mean you use Aura for contraception as well?” If he was going to fuck her at some point, after knowing for certain where he stood with her, then it would be great if she was already protected.
“Yes.”
Gray grinned like a fool. That was like hitting the jackpot. She was available for sex straight away. All he needed was information now.
“When was the last time you were sexual with someone?” Was his next question.
She had to think for a moment for this question.
“I believe it has been nine years.”
That was quite a while with no sex. Maybe she used toys for that time instead.
“Who was the last person you were sexual with?”
“A man named James Ironwood.”
Gray didn’t know that name. It didn’t ring any bells.
“Is there a chance that he might come back into your life? Or is that relationship over?”
“He is the headmaster of the Atlas academy, but he often talks with Professor Ozpin for work.”
Oh, so distance might have been one of the reasons for that ship to sink. Another headmaster, huh? Does she have a thing for headmasters or was this thing with the Ironwood guy just because they saw each other on occasion for work related reasons?
“Is there anything romantic between you and Professor Ozpin?” She already said she hadn’t had sex in nine years, so there couldn’t be any of that between them. She could have had feelings though.
Gray looked up and could see an airship in the distance. It was a little way away, but it was probably their ride.
“No.”
“How old is he, by the way?”
“Physically he is fifty-three.”
Gray was going to move on to another question but stopped short. Physically? What did she mean by physically? It would have made sense if she had said ‘He is fifty-three,’ but she had to give a qualifier for some reason.
“Why did you say physically?”
“Because he has the mind of someone a few thousand years old.”
Gray... could only stare.
The airship had docked, and the teacher student pair waited for the passengers to disembark first. A few older students got off and noticed Professor Goodwitch. They greeted her and tried to strike up a conversation with her, but the professor told them that they were on a schedule. With the passengers fully disembarked, Glynda and Gray stepped on board. They sat down in a cabin that was empty except for the cabin crew. They only saw two of them the whole flight. They had offered some water and then left them alone.
Gray let Glynda have the window seat, while he sat down next to her. She glanced outside as Gray stared at her face. For a reason that wasn’t sexual this time.
Gray’s mind was... Not empty, and not full of questions. Yet. He just... stopped thinking for a while. His mind stalled. Some minutes later and he began to try and figure things out.
He checked his Semblance first. His body had the blur effect. He poked Glynda’s arm and got no response. He poked her breast and got no response. He even went so far as to put his finger in her mouth. She didn’t reel away in disgust or even change her facial expression.
His Semblance was still working. It had to be. So, why did she say something so strange?
“Professor Goodwitch,” He said, getting her attention. “What do you mean by Professor Ozpin has the mind of someone a few thousand years old?”
“His soul reincarnates every time he dies.” She told him with no humor on her face. She wasn’t joking. She couldn’t be joking. With his Semblance, there was no way for her to lie or joke when he asked a question.
He stared at her some more.
“Are you telling the truth?”
“Yes.”
Gray’s mouth went a little dry. He tried wetting his mouth and clearing his throat. That didn’t stop his head from staggering to a standstill.
The rest of the ride in the airship was spent in silence. Gray didn’t feel like he could continue the line of questions that were clamoring in his mind. He needed to calm down and think. Suddenly, things became a little ridiculous, and maybe even a little dangerous.
Out of all the things that could potentially counter his Semblance in some way, an immortal soul might be the very thing. They would have so much knowledge, so much more than Gray could anticipate. He could be caught out in any way at any time. Gray was afraid now.
He stayed silent. He didn’t even know if he should turn his Semblance off or not. It might be protecting him from scrutiny, or it might be putting him on blast for Ozpin.
It was strange... he remembered his power working on him before. He got into his team because he used his power on the headmaster. Otherwise, he would have been sent home. So, his power, his Semblance should still work on him... but there was a little doubt now. Was there a way for that man to realize what was going on?
Was it possible for Ozpin to eventually notice that something was off? Especially with Glynda? If Gray messed with her too much, would Ozpin see what he had done?
Gray needed to figure things out real fast. He needed to question his only source right now. But where does he start?
They landed. Which was great, because Gray was starting to get a little nauseous with stress. They walked out of the gate and through the Skyport's large waiting areas. They wasted no time making their way to a car rental place outside the port. Gray let Glynda do most of the work here. He only pointed out that they might have some large boxes.
She picked a car that was more of a van or a family car that could fit about seven or eight people. The seats in the back could be put down neatly for storing lots of stuff. It looked like it would be enough for their trip.
Glynda drove the car out of the rental place with Gray riding shotgun. He still hadn’t quite figured out what to do. He just let her focus for now. He wasn’t sure if he could get away with distracting someone while they were driving, and he didn’t want to be the test dummy.
Gray looked out the window at Vale. It looked much the same as he had last seen it. Though it was a different part of the city, it still had that more modern look to it. A little uninspired compared to the older parts of town. Old Castletown was the oldest part, but even that was modernized. Heck, they turned the castle into a train station for the Valley’s sake.
He was distracting himself.
He didn’t know what to think, so he was trying to think of other things.
He checked the time on his scroll. Fourth period was two thirds of the way through. There was just lunch and fifth period after that. Did they have enough time to get the beds and bring them back as well as make them, on top of Gray finding out what the fuck was happening?
He would have to do something. He just didn’t know quite what.
They pulled into a parking lot with a number of different stores. Treasure Trove was one of the biggest ones. Glynda parked the car close to the stores entrance and turned the car off. She left the car and Gray followed her out. She then locked the vehicle and strode towards the store. Gray couldn’t help but stare at her butt and hips the whole time as he followed.
They walked in and Gray looked out at all the furniture on display. Beds, couches, dressers, chests of drawers, cabinets. They all filled the large warehouse space leaving only walkways for customers to browse.
Gray followed Glynda and watched as she looked around the place. She spotted a worker off to the side who was moving one of the furniture displays and made her way over to him. He spotted her too and stopped what he was doing to greet her.
“Hi there. How can I help?” The man asked. He looked rather normal, with a pretty forgettable face.
“Hello. We were looking for a couple bunk-beds, if you stock those.” Glynda told him why they were there.
“Bunk-beds. Yes, we have some of those. Please, follow me.” The man led them to one side of the building. They had to do some zigzagging to reach the wall and further along. There were quite a number of beds, both normal ones and some bunk-beds on display. There were small ones too that looked more for children than for people his age. Gray did spot one of those bunk-beds that came with a desk instead of a bottom bed. He always thought those were cool. “What age-range will these beds be for?” The worker asked.
“Nineteen-year-olds. They’re attending school and requested some bunk-beds to save on space.” Glynda informed the man.
They were walking past a gap in the displays where a service door was located. It was mostly open, and Gray could see some backroom shelves and some boxes that might have been the stock of the furniture that was on display. He was about to look away when someone walked past the open doorway. Gray caught a splash of orange and white and did a double take. He stopped and took a few steps to look closer.
Through the gap, Gray could see a man with ginger hair and wearing a bowler hat walking past some shelves with someone else in a black and red suit. The man in the bowler hat, also wearing a white coat, turned just enough for Gray to see his face.
Gray was brought back to the day he first saw Ruby. That was the day Brenin Llwyd’s Dust store was robbed. A man, identified as Roman Torchwick, fought Ruby and Glynda on a roof as he escaped the scene.
And now that man was here, in the backroom of a furniture store. Smoking a cigar and talking with one of those goons that were also there at the scene. What were the bloody chances?
Gray’s eyes go wide again as he looked over at Glynda. What would happen if she knew he was there? Would a fight break out?
Thankfully she was further along and looking at a bunk-bed with the worker. She wasn’t aware of the situation. Gray looked back through the gap and hurried over to Glynda. He didn’t really know what he was doing but he felt the need to stall her.
“Professor,” He called to her as he approached. She turned to him. “If you could look for bunk-beds that are really sturdy, like if a rambunctious Ruby jumped around on it, and wouldn’t break. Or if I had rough sex on it, and it wouldn’t collapse. That would be great.”
Glynda nodded her understanding.
“Understood.”
“Also, while you’re at it, could you maybe look for a similar bunkbed, one where the bottom bed has been replaced by a desk or storage of some sort?” He added, to help stall her and also because he might want his own place to sleep that he could use if he got sick. Wouldn’t want to pass anything on to the girls.
“Alright.” The woman answered simply.
Gray nodded and backed away. The professor went back to discussing something with the worker and Gray turned away to approach the service door. He really did not know what he was going to do, but he figured that since he had this power, he might be in a unique position to do something.
He slipped through the door as he employed his Aura skills on top of his Semblance, just in case. The shadows seemed to naturally cover him as he moved into the storage room. His image blended almost like camouflage as he snuck past a stack of boxes. It wasn’t particularly dark in this room as it was still daytime and there was a window up high, but there were places where the light was somewhat murky. Perfect for his abilities.
As he snuck from place to place, he heard some of what the man was saying.
“...been a few days. They’ve likely tired themselves out trying to find us...” Roman Torchwick said.
“...word from southside. Their productivity has been solid...” Likely the other man said.
Gray got closer, hoping that if he did make a noise then his Semblance would work fine. It would be horrible luck to come across someone who could see through his power here.
“Her Ladyship,” Torchwick said with clear sarcasm and resentment. “Is asking, no, demanding that we move the shipment already.”
Gray heard the other man make a scoffing noise.
“She doesn’t quite get it does she?” He asked. “That place hasn’t been made yet. Any big movements from there so soon would just tip someone off.”
Gray made it to a corner and peered past it.
“You get it. I get it. Neo over there gets it.” The gingerbread thief pointed over to a corner of the room where a computer desk sat against the wall. The computer was turned off, but the desk chair was occupied by someone. They looked like a... little girl? With a two-tone hair style. She was rotating the swivel chair back and forth and looked very bored. Her outfit, from what Gray could tell from where he was standing, looked very fancy. There was a white half jacket, a pair of white boots that looked old fashioned and a closed umbrella that she was idly swaying back and forth with the chairs motion. “But Miss wannabe queen is in one of her threatening moods. She might decide to set someone on fire.”
The other man sighed.
“Why did we take this job, Boss?”
“Why else? Money. There’s supposedly a lot of money involved. We’ve already seen some of it.”
The two men moved over to another side of the room and their conversation became a little muffled as they walked behind another set of shelves and boxes.
Gray looked back and forth between where the men had gone and the girl still sitting at the desk. He still couldn’t quite figure out if she was a little girl or not. From his vantage point she looked like a small girl with a fancy getup.
He was torn. He didn’t know if he should approach the girl and question her, and her involvement in this, or follow the men and find out what their plans were. And maybe question them. He also wasn’t keen on being found out in case his Semblance didn’t work on one of them.
There was also the annoying fact that he didn’t have his weapons with him. He thought he wouldn’t need them since he was with the professor. A Huntress with years of experience. Now he felt regret not having at least one of his daggers by his side.
So, this was going to be a gamble. Approach the men, possibly get seen and attacked, or approach the girl, possibly get seen and attacked. He wasn’t about to assume that because she was a small girl that she must be harmless. No, he met a girl with a scythe and that was ridiculous enough.
All he had on his person was his scroll... and that gave him an idea.
He pulled his scroll out and tapped a message to Glynda.
Gray: I’m just browsing in the storage room close to the bunk-beds. If I’m not out in 5 minutes, please come looking for me.
He sent that and got a reply a couple moments later.
Glynda: Understood.
With that safeguard, Gray put his scroll away and took a deep breath. This was the plan. Approach the girl and check for any hostility or suspicion. If there is suspicion, then he will try to talk his way out. Maybe give an excuse about needing a toilet. If there isn’t any, then ask some questions. Heck, maybe even get some contact info from her for later use. If the men come back, then try the same thing. Any hostilities and he will use the toilet excuse.
If there was no hostility from any of them then he would send a message to Glynda to ignore his previous message.
Gray took another steadying breath and tried to walk casually out from the shelves. He looked around like an idiot looking for something... and no one called out to him. No one stopped him to ask why he was there. He looked at the girl and made to ask her where the toilets were preemptively, but he noticed that her bored look hadn’t changed.
He was now in her line of sight, and she didn’t seem to care that he was there. Okay, his Semblance worked on her. He walked closer, remaining a little tense the whole time. As he got closer, he noticed that her hair was pink on one side and brown on the other. Odd choice, but she looked really cute.
And she was small!
How old was she? What was a minor doing with a thief like Torchwick? Was she in some sort of trouble?
He was very close now and knelt down to see her eye to eye. She still didn’t look at him.
“Hi.” Gray said.
The girl finally looked at him and all she did was wave.
“What’s your name?” He asked.
At this point the girl reaches into her jacket, making Gray tense, and pulls out a scroll. Gray stays tense and ready to run when she starts tapping away. He relaxed when she turned the screen around for him to see.
Neo.
That’s what the screen said, and that was what Torchwick said earlier.
“Neo. Is that your name?”
She nodded.
At this point she hadn’t said a word. She also didn’t look the least bit worried. She was completely at ease being here.
“Can you talk?”
Neo shook her head.
“So, you’re mute?”
She nodded.
Huh. Well, things just get stranger.
“How old are you?”
She tapped away again.
The screen said twenty-one...
Lords of the FUCKING Valley! Preserve and guide this lost sheep back to the walls of your kingdom. For he has been led astray by... weird genetics.
Gray rubbed his face and felt an emotion he had no words for. He did know that he suddenly felt exhausted though.
With a sigh of monumental tiredness, Gray asked another question.
“Are you connected to Roman Torchwick?”
She nodded.
“Are you a criminal like him?”
Nod.
“...yeah, take that and feed your family.” The voice of Torchwick said from behind Gray.
Gray jerked his head around in panic.
“I’ll see you at westside for the inspection.”
The thief handed a band of lien to the man in black and red.
“Got it Boss.” The man in black and red took the money and walked off back towards the other end of the room and past the shelves that Gray snuck past.
“Alright Neo, we’re headed to northside.” The red-haired thief told the girl... woman.
Neo nodded with a smile and got up to leave.
Torchwick didn’t care that Gray was there. His Semblance was intact, so he relaxed. He pulled out his scroll.
“Can you two wait, please?” He said to the criminal duo.
They stopped and looked at him.
“Yeah, sure.” Torchwick said. Neo nodded along.
Gray sent the message to Glynda to ignore his last message. He then tapped to his contacts and looked at the two criminals. They looked at him passively. Gray was getting an interesting idea. He had no idea if it was a good idea, but it may end up being a useful idea.
“Can I get your contact info? Both of you?” he asked them.
“Sure, I don’t mind.” Torchwick said, pulling his scroll out. Neo shrugged and did the same.
Gray saw the message pop up that told him he received new contacts and put his scroll away. Now that he could relax, he was feeling some of his left-over adrenaline cause some jitters in his arms and legs. He had more experience fighting Grimm and sparring with other students. Not fighting with criminals.
“Okay, so... I have some questions.” he started.
“Alright.” Torchwick nodded.
“Um... why did you try to steal Dust the other day?”
“I was ordered to by my new temporary boss. She wants the Dust for a big fight she’s planning.”
Sounds like some crime world type stuff. Gray wouldn’t know, he didn’t watch any crime shows growing up.
“Who is your new boss and why is she planning a fight?”
“She calls herself Cinder and she wants to attack Beacon Academy.”
Gray was shocked.
Attack Beacon? Why? What was going on? Did he suddenly wake up on the set of a movie?
“Why?! Why attack Beacon?”
“I think she has some sort of grudge against the headmaster. I don’t know any more.”
The headmaster, Ozpin. Glynda told him that he had an immortal soul and would reincarnate with each ****. And now he learned that the man had an enemy plotting his downfall, and maybe the school with him.
What was happening?!
“Uh, do you have this woman’s contact info?” If he could get a hold of her then maybe he could do something. Use his Semblance to stop this attack.
“No,” Shit! “She shows up and gives orders then leaves.”
Dammit! How does he get a hold of her then?
“Can you describe her? Do you have any pictures of her?”
“I don’t have pictures, but-” He was interrupted when Neo pulled out her scroll again.
She tapped away before turning the screen to show Gray a picture. It was a little dark, but Gray could make out a figure in a red dress. It was a woman with long black hair pulled to one side and... her eyes seemed to glow a fiery orange red. There were others behind her, but the picture didn’t show much. Fortunately, Neo swiped the screen and showed him another picture. This one seemed a little lighter but also a little bit blurry. The woman’s face was strikingly beautiful in a cruel sort of way. This picture also showed another young woman next to her, as well a profile of a young man. The second woman had dark skin, green hair and a white, green and brown outfit that showed some skin. The man had a faded blue, black and grey outfit and hair the same color as the faded blue.
“Could you send these to me, please?” Gray asked Neo.
She nodded readily and sent the pictures. He might be able to find out who they were if he carefully asks Glynda some questions with these pictures. It was likely that she would know something about Ozpin’s enemies.
“What are the names of these two?” He asked, bringing up the picture of the other two on his scroll.
“That’s Emerald, and that one’s Mercury.” Torchwick said, pointing at each.
Cinder, Emerald and Mercury. He had names and pictures. Gray could do... something with these. He just didn’t know what, yet. But now, he had to get back to Glynda. He’s been away for too long. But he also can’t just let these two go. They were dangerous themselves. He needed to be able to keep an eye on them. He needed them to let him know when they would see these three in the pictures.
Gray had to tie these two to him.
They obviously had a network, considering they had an operation going on inside a furniture retail store. They spoke about southside’s and northside’s too.
“Listen you two.” They hadn’t stopped listening, but Gray said it anyway. “You are obedient to me. You are loyal to me. You will send me daily updates on my scroll. You will tell me when you meet with this woman. Do not tell anyone that you answer to me.”
“Okay, Boss.” Torchwick answered. Neo nodded along.
“If you see me in public and I’m with someone, pretend as if you don’t know me until I say otherwise.”
They nodded together.
“And... one last thing...” Gray was a bit hesitant with this last one. It would actually involve him in some of this criminal activity. “You mentioned that she gave you money. How much did she give you?”
Gray left through the service door and shut it properly with a sigh.
He found Glynda inspecting one of the bunk-beds he was interested in. The one with the desk underneath. She was looking through the drawers one by one. The worker seemed to have moved over to a cash register close to the front of the store. There was a flatbed trolley with some boxes by his counter. Gray was going to guess that they were the beds they had planned to get.
He stood there and felt a fatigue he hadn’t felt before. How did his life get even more ridiculous than it already was? At first, he thought he had a ticket to a life full of sex and perversions. Then the sexy teacher said her boss is immortal. Then he learned that her boss has enemies that want to attack the school. And his Semblance seemed oddly perfect to help stop all of that.
What the hell happened to his life?
He went and picked the bed he wanted and stood back as the worker went to fetch the boxes. Gray paid for everything using the dubiously acquired money he got from Torchwick, then he watched as Glynda used her Semblance to telekinetically lift all the beds into the rental car.
He checked the time and found that lunchtime for his teammates was almost over. There was just last period to go. Glynda and Gray were now on their way back to the Skyport. In the car Gray muttered, “Teams RWBY and JNPR will use their after school free time to study in the library.”
He still needed to make the beds, and he planned on keeping Glynda around to help with that. Among other things. He still needed to talk with her about this mess, and honestly... he really wanted to just fuck her.
Caution be damned. He needed this.
A/N: I somehow managed to write a really long chapter (for me at least). It's about 6k when I usually do 3k a chapter. Two chapters for the price of one. Enjoy.
Sex next chapter, promise.
