The season begins as you are named in the bench squad for the first game of the season. The first game of the season is against West Ham United.

You head to the bench after the warm up as the playing 11 head to the pitch. You soak in the atmosphere as thousands of people are screaming in excitement and showing their support for the team.

The game begins with your team as an underdog in this game. West Ham heavily dominate the game passing around the ball nicely as Fulham struggle to have any possession and depend deep on their half.

The manager looks tense as West Ham take shot after shot at your goal narrowly missing the goal. This continues for 45 minutes as referee blows the whistle for half time and everyone feels Fulham to be lucky heading back to the dressing room still haven't conceded a single goal.

"Okay, this is something we expected, let's not panic," the gaffer said doing his best impression of being calm. " Let's continue defending tight, good job not giving them space to take clear shots. Let's keep at that. When we have the ball, look for the wingers and other attackers make run in proper spaces all right? Let's go!"

The second half began and the match looked to be more of the same. West Ham constantly attacking and Fulham defending for their lives.

At about the 70th minute mark the gaffer asks you to start warming up. As you start warming up you look at the crowd nervously. Being almost an unknown has it's advantages as the crowds negligence of you helps calm your nerves.

At the 80th minute mark, the gaffer calls you asking you to go in for Arnautovic, the main striker of the club.

"Listen kid, use your energy to pressure the defenders, use your fresh legs. If we get the ball use your pace to make run behind the defenders. Good luck, and most importantly don't forget to have fun," he says as he gives you one last pay on your back and subs you in.

As your name is announced to be subbed in for Arnautovic you hear a section of the crowd booing. Although the boos were for Arnautovic, it doesn't help your nerves.

You do as your manager instructed you and try and put pressure on West Ham's midfield but you find it increasingly difficult with their crisp passing.

Around 89th minute you pressure one of their defenders which makes him misplace his pass and the ball falls directly to the captain Cairney. He quickly controls the ball and puts the ball through for you as make a run and find yourself one on one with the goal keeper.

You fake a shot and dribble the ball past the GK successfully to find an open net begging for the ball to be put in. You calmly pass the ball in the open net as the entire crowd roars and celebrate the goal right at the **** of the match.

You run towards the crowd and are caught up by your teammates as they jump over you to celebrate what seems like the match winning goal.

You hear the entire stadium chanting your name, " Conrad! Conrad! Conrad! Conrad! Conrad! Conrad!"

The match continues on for another couple minutes after which the referee blows the whistle off and your team celebrate the first win of the season against a strong opponent.
