Chapter 3 by UrielCifer UrielCifer

What Does Leo Say?

Fuck You

“Fuck you, dude.” Leo said with a scowl.

Alexander was thrown by that answer, physically reeling as if he’d been struck. “What?” He said, incredulous.

Leo scowl darkened. “You heard me. Don’t get so far up your ass with your sanctimonious bullshit.” Whipping out a pencil, Leo wrote a line before Alexander could react.

Fear gripped Alexander’s heart. “What did you do?” He all but whispered.

Leo scowl turned to an ugly smirk. “Something to keep you out of my way, bitch.”

The countdown struck fifteen.

Leo. What. Did. You. Do?” Alexander asked with a **** calm, his heart rate rising.

Leo just smirked wider. “Oh, I’m sure you’ll figure it out.”

The countdown struck five.

“Please, Leo, what did you write?” Alexander pleaded.

Leo never got the chance to answer. Reality shimmered, and Alexander’s sight went black.

When the world was right again, Alexander didn’t at first notice what had happened. He was still in his classroom, though everyone who’d left for lunch had returned at some point while he was blacked out.None of the students he looked at appeared out of the ordinary. Even Ashley had gained back her normal clothing. The room looked fine, the students were normal, the world he could see outside the window looked like it always did.

And most unexpected of all, Leo was there, looking at him in concern. “Hey, Alex, you alright? You sorta spaced out there for a couple minutes.”

“Huh,” Alexander uttered, rubbing at his forehead. “Uh, yeah, I guess I’m fine? I-I don’t know what came over me there.”

“Whew,” Leo said, sounding relieved. “That’s good. Don’t know what I would’ve done if you had, like, a seizure on me, babe.”

Alexander laughed lightly, at that. “Yeah, I guess that would’ve been bad for you, dude. I just don’t know what-” Leo’s words finally registered in his mind. “Uh, wait, ‘babe?’”

Leo looked over. “Yeah?”

Alexander waited a moment, but finding no answer forthcoming, repeated. “You called me ‘babe.’”

Leo gained a confused look. “Uh, yeah? That’s… what I always call you.” Leo leaned over, looking Alexander’s face over intently. “Did that thing mess with your memory or something? Do you need to go to the doctor’s?”

“Wha- No, no!” Alexander pushed Leo away, his breathing quickening. “Why did you call me that? For that matter, why’d you call me ‘Alex?’”

Now, Leo looked very concerned. “Okay, yeah, we’re going to the nurse’s, and you’re going to the hospital.” Leo turned to Mr. Grant, who’d just returned to the classroom. “Mr. Grant, I’m taking Alex to the nurse’s. Something happened during lunch, and now her memories are all messed up.”

Mr. Grant looked shocked, but then he looked at Alexander and his utter confusion over everything happening, and his eyes widened. “Yes, I believe that might be for the best, Mr. Richards. I’ll excuse the both of you for today.”

“Thank you.” Leo said. He turned and grabbed Alexander’s hand and pulled him out of his seat. “C’mon, we’re going to the nurse’s.”

“Wait- What do you mean-” Alexander’s brain stuttered. “What do you mean ‘her?!’”

Leo froze for a couple seconds, and it felt like everyone’s eyes were burning through Alexander. “Okay,” Leo finally said. “We’re going to the hospital. Now.”

Quickly pulling Alexander from his seat, not even bothering to collect their bags, Leo pulled them both through the doors and down the halls. Alexander’s mind was slow, trying to process everything that was happening. Unfortunately, his mind was scrambled, so he pushed those through to away and tried to focus on the present moment.

His feet pounding on the floor as he was pulled through the halls. Leo’s voice talking to someone on the phone. Leo’s hand enveloping his own, it’s callousness rough on his skin. The rough pressure on his chest and hips as they all but sprinted through the halls. The uncomfortable chafing on his chest.

Alexander’s eyes refocused on the world, looking around to find him and Leo had made it outside of the building, seated on a bench in front of the school’s gate.

Alexander looked over to Leo, having to crane his neck more than he was used to to actually make eye contact. Leo was looking at him, worry etched over his face. “Are you alright, Alex?”

Alexander frowned. “I’m… confused. Why do you keep calling me ‘Alex’ and ‘babe?’ And why did Mr. Grant call me ‘her?’”

Leo’s face was supremely concerned. “Okay. Okay, okay, okay.” He muttered to himself, closing his eyes and taking a shaky breath before turning back to Alexander. “What’s the last thing you remember before blacking out?”

Alexander blinked. “Um, we were in lunch. I was talking to you about some notebook you found.”

Leo’s face fell. He sighed, rubbing his eyes with the heel’s of his palms. “Alright, not good.” He looked back to Alexander. “Alex. That never happened. Before you blacked out, we were making plans for what to do after school let out.”

“What?” Alexander said quietly, his brows furrowing. “But- I could’ve sworn-”

“Alex.” Alexander looked at Leo again. “What do you remember me as?”

Alexander’s look turned confused. “You’re my best friend? We hang out everyday at your house cause you have the newest console we can game on.”

Leo’s face fell, and Alexander was shocked to see actual tears start to trail down his cheeks. “Leo? What happened, why’re you crying?”

He looked back up at Alexander, his eyes shining. “Alex. You’re my girlfriend. You haven’t called me just your best friend since before you transitioned.”

Alexander’s might froze. “Trans… itioned? What do you…”

Alexander finally looked down at himself. He sucked in a shocked breath. “What…”

A hand raised itself to his chest, though her chest might be more accurate. Because sitting there proudly on what she had so recently referred to as pecs were a pair of tits.

“The…”

His—her, a strange part of his mind insisted—hand lowered down his body, feeling the curves that belonged to someone of the fairer sex, not his own slim but muscular male build. A hand shot to his head, feeling thick locks of hair, trailing down the shoulder-length strands.

His, her, hand finally reached his crotch, feeling for the familiar bulge, but finding naught but a smooth mound.

“Fuck.”

Alexander barely noticed the shouts of Leo as he, she, passed out again.
