Frieren's actions have consequences

Currently in Hyrule the Elven Kingdom

in the garden of the royal palace the elven queen Semiramis is sitting under the Elven Tree of Life

Semiramis: what a calm and nice day

She starts drinking some wine and listens to the nature all around her

Semiramis: it's so quiet, I love it, just me and nature

?: MOM!

Semiramis: well that didn't last long

Semiramis turns around and sees her daughter standing next to her

Semiramis: good morning to you too Zelda

Zelda: we're going to be late Mom

Semiramis: no we won't calm down

Semiramis sees her daughter's fiance standing behind her

Semiramis: good morning to you to Link

Link: good morning your highness

Semiramis: at least someone has manners

Zelda: come on we're gonna be late

Semiramis: let's go

they all start to walk away when suddenly a shift of magic is felt in the Tree of Life

Semiramis: no not again

all three watch as one of the tree branches turns black

Link: what's happening

Zelda: this is the first time you're seeing this, isn't Link

Link: Of course each branch represents the life of an elf, and once the elf dies the branch dies

Semiramis: You are correct but it also represents the purity of an elf

Semiramis: the healthy ones are those of pure-blooded elves who remained pure

Link: and what about those that turn black

Semiramis: those are of the elves who give in to temptation and get corrupted, they will give birth to the the filthy dark Elves

Link: so who is it

Semiramis: let's see

Semiramis puts her hand against the tree and starts focusing

Semiramis: oh great tree who us who has fallen

Semiramis let's go of the tree

Semiramis: how disappointing, expected more of you Frieren

Zelda: WHAT, Frieren turned her back on us

Semiramis: apparently so

Semiramis looks at Link

Semiramis: what will you do now Link, now that your sister has fallen to temptation

Link: is there any doubt that it's her

Semiramis: no the tree cannot lie

Link: then I will find her

Semiramis: you can't save her, she has been corrupted

Link: I know, but I can at least give her an honorable death

Semiramis: then go, bring honor back to your family

Link: I'll leave tomorrow, though will be a while before I reach her, since she is part of the adventurers guild in Novigrad

Semiramis: I'll pray for the goddess to protect you during your travels

Zelda: I'll come too

Semiramis: absolutely not

Zelda: Frieren is my friend too

Semiramis: I forbid it, it's way too dangerous, you're my only child, and I won't have you endanger yourself
