Friend to Friend

You wake up sweating, heart pounding as though you've just run a marathon. There's something heavy on your chest, and you realize that it's your girlfriend who has decided to use you as a pillow again. Trying not to wake her, you slowly run your hand down to check on your underwear. Yep. Another wet dream. Aren't I too old for this shit?

It's been about two years since that night you slept with Bob, but you still remembered every detail. Every kiss and every thrust. You both kept to your promise after that, never mentioning those events again. Neither did you ever watch porn, or do anything remotely sexual together.

In an effort to appear normal, you had started dating the first girl who would say yes - a chubby blonde named Elizabeth. Unfortunately for you, she is completely enamored by faith and keeps nagging you to go to church with her every Sunday. You had none of it, though, and strictly told her that twice a year is enough. She was a nice girl and all, but there was something missing from your relationship, which is probably why you just had your third wet dream about Bob this month.

As for Bob, he had also found himself a cute girl named Debby. You are still best friends, and hang out with each other at least once a month, if not every weekend. With the high-class jobs you're both working, anything more isn't really practical.

With a sigh, you close your eyes and try to fall asleep again. Life is good, it's wrong of you to complain that it's not great. I just wish I could get these fucking dreams out of my head.
