Friday Pt 3

"And here's your order!"

Walt grinned. His food looked fantastic! Blake and Balalaika were ecstatic with their food as well. "Thank you, Honey. How are you liking 3S so far?" He asked the lovely blond woman.

She smiled brightly! "This place is great! I got some wrestling practice in earlier with some of the others. Attended a seminar on matter/antimatter. And now I get to wait tables just for fun! Also the food is phenomenal and everyone I have meet has been unique and interesting! I love this place!"

Walt laughed. "I had a feeling you might like it here! How's Soma and Aiya making out?"

She smiled and pointed. "Aiya is happy working the counter and Soma is thrilled to be working with some of his old friends again as well as making new ones. He's already talking about having "food battle" or "wars" and whatever sometime. But everyone seems very happy! Speaking of you better eat up before it gets cold! Soma wanted to make your lunch as thanks before he left to assist your friend with baking mustard something."

Walt nodded. "Thanks Honey! Remind him for me she needs to take it easy. I appreciate it!"

Honey waved to them before bouncing away happily. "Enjoy!"

Walt grinned watching the others eat. Clothes didn't actually go flying off on Prime but judging from the reactions of everyone around the food was outstanding! It looked like the kitchen staff was extra fired up today!

Walt lifted his chicken for a bite!

"Yeah, I thought it went pretty well... other than working with Stark. Tony, that is not Walt. Walt's fun and comes up with great ideas to collaborate on!"

Neo raised her eyebrow and Manami asked, "Why? Is this Tony guy a pain to work with?"

Norman laughs and Otto nods. "Tony's just a bit of an ego. Tends to rub some folks the wrong way like Norman. I love it though. I think it bugs him just a little everytime someone calls Walt "Boss" or "Stark"." Octavious shrugs and smirks. "Or maybe I just like to think that!" They all laugh before he continues. "But some of the others and their ideas are extremely interesting. I particularly liked some of Emmerich's ideas... and it's nice to be working with Peter."

Norman nods in agreement. "It is nice to all be working together." He looks at Neo and Manami. "He was our "nemesis" and the protagonist in our antagonist relationship. But... well always a nice young man. It's complicated but mistakes were made on all sides. But they're all things we can rectify or have undone here and work together again."

Otto nods. "By the way. I just remembered... what was wrong with Tony's coffee in the meeting? It seemed like all the others were fine."

Norman shrugged but Neo elbowed him grinning causing him to grin as well. "Alright," he admitted. "I put salt in it after his little "glider" crack!"

They all laughed!

Neo was so glad Walt had insisted on her attending Villain-anon! This group was a riot! She saw Harley wave to her from next to the new lady who had introduced herself as a doctor Isle-something who was chatting with Pirotess and Sienna. She politely excused herself. She wanted to hear more about this giant bomb and practice juggling!

"Whoa! That's some intense mustard flavor!"

Penny nodded at Soma. "Apparently mustard is her favorite and I want to make her happy! But Walt has forbidden me to make enough for the entire wedding though." She looks down a bit. "I understand his reasoning but I can do it! I'd just have to work nonstop for 42 or 43 hours then get changed into my dress and-"

Penny stopped seeing everyone look at her. She nodded and sighed. "And Walter is correct. That would worry him and I don't want to do that. Apparently the catering is taking care if it." But she clenched her fist. "But I still want to make her happy as a friend and Walt has agreed I can make individual batches for the brides to make them happy!"

Soma nods and taste tests the ingredient. "Oh, I see! This mustard is what's special! You made it yourself?"

Penny nodded smiling. "It's a family recipe from Walt's Grandmother passed down through the family for generations. Using it with the cookie recipe creates an intense mustard flavor much stronger than any of the others. But it is quite time consuming to make."

Soma nods. "That's definitely the secret. You made a flavor bomb by incorporating the high end ingredients in just the right amounts! Impressive, Penny!" Soma nods. "Alright! I'm happy to be your assistant!" Then his smile gets a bit sinister as he laughs and grins. "Providing we can make a few small "experimental" batches... I want to try making a few horseradish and Wasabi flavored ones as well as..."

Soma continued on excitedly as Penny clapped her hands excitedly and the others looked on worried. Senko looked at Kali who nodded before she went to get purifying salt. Sayoko and Roberta smiled and were excited for Sasha to "taste test" these cookies during her visit when sge was done with her chores!

"And what is the relevance of this?"

Aela blinked at HK-47. "Polish. So you four look good."

T3-M4 whistled happily as Lydia was washing and polishing him.

ED-E played "Sharp Dressed Man" as Pyrrha did the same laughing.

Aela, Lydia, Pyrrha and Sasha were wearing short shorts and t-shirts and swimsuits as they worked. The day was warmer than usual. Pyrrha was a little disappointed that Walt wasn't coming home. Her research had indicated that men liked watching girls washing vehicles for some reason... but he should be home tomorrow! They could wash and polish the vehicles and the other robots tomorrow and see if he had a reaction! Today could be a practice of sorts!

HK-47 shook his head. "I understand the process. I'm questioning the necessity, meatbag."

Aela growled at the rude Droid but let it go. It wasn't worth getting upset. It's just how it was. Like Mystique or Demona. That made her chuckle.

"Don't you want to look your best, soldier?!" Sergeant RL-3 queries. "If we go to the wedding we need to look our best. And if not there's nothing wrong with a clean and neat appearance. It's a soldiers duty! Right, Scout Sasha Blouse?"

Sasha nodded. "Yes, Sergeant!"

HK-47 folded its arms. "Well I'm not going. "Weddings". Disgusting meatbag bonding ceremony for the purpose of pairing of with a mate to create what? I'll tell you. More meatbags. And apparently two of the meatbag females are already showing signs that they're carrying Disgusting meatbag offspring of the meatbag male. So this whole revolting ceremony is a pointless process." He pauses. "Unless there's trouble? Do you suppose that's why Master wants us there? He has a sense for these things. Maybe there will be killing! Death, destruction, disintegration... I've changed my mind!"

Aela grunted. "Great now hold still dammit! If you pinch my fingers again I'll scrap you myself!"

"Well here we are. The closest RealDreams megaoutlet."

Blake was surprised. Granted it wasn't as big as the Costco picture that Ahnassi had shown them but this place was big nonetheless!

"This whole thing is RealDreams?" Nora asked. "It doesn't look like where I was..."

Walt shrugged. "From the sound of things and the fact you weren't collared yet you probably escaped a facility shortly after arrival and detainment. Accidents are extremely rare. They can handle anything from microscopic to kaiju level threats. But the character you described was likely Taz, the Tasmanian Devil. Gag/joke cartoon characters are the worst that way. Normal rational physics just don't apply and mistakes do happen. It's easier to contain a god of mischief. It's also why characters like Bugs Bunny are so damn expensive. The "portals" aren't actually in the stores. Too closely guarded a secret for that. But a lot of the consumer end of the business is handled in stores like this one or smaller. Even the smallest town in the middle of nowhere pretty much is guaranteed to have at least a one person mini store."

Curie looks at it. "It reminds me of pictures of Prewar shopping malls."

Walt nodded. "For the big ones like this that's an apt analogy." He looked at the group. "Remember where we landed. Don't lose your IDs and don't get separated! Friday will alert you and I if you wander but accidents can happen. I don't want to have to go through lost and found but if a staff member does come up to you DON'T give them any trouble. Explain your situation, be respectful and above all keep cool. They'll be professional with you. Understood?"

Everyone signals the affirmative and he nodded. "Alright, shoppers... let's shop!"
