Friday Night Football

It was Friday Night and the football team were playing

Thinking about it, Mark was sort of glad that he didn’t agree to the tutoring with Miss Fischer the other week. He didn’t usually love football but Tiffany was filling it for one or the cheerleaders tonight.

He didn’t want to miss out on seeing her dance on the side of the field in a sexy cheerleaders uniform.

Unfortunately it wasn’t the greatest weather. It had been raining on and off over the course of the day and there was a chance that it would really open up tonight and start bucketing down heavily.

Mark walked in to the stadium with his good mate Daniel, his roommate Matt and his girlfriend Cassidy.

Take a seat in the grand stand, they were lucky to get a spot right up the back where their seats were covered from the rain.

“If my sneakers get ruined tonight, I’m going to kill someone,” said Cassidy, inspecting her own white sneakers to see if they had any mud on them.

Matt ignored her and started biting into the hot dog he had ordered.

“You know you could have asked if I wanted something to eat?” said Cassidy, frowning at her boyfriend.

“Seriously? You don’t like anything they sell here, would you have actually want anything to eat?”

“No but a gentlemen wouldn’t have still offered.”

The couple continued one of their pointless arguments for the next few minutes. Daniel had never really spent that much time around Matt and Cassidy, he now knew why. “Are they always like this?” he leaned in and whispered to Mark.

Mark just frowned and nodded his head. The bickering annoyed to him no end, they were just so hot and cold that couple.

About 15 minutes later, the cheerleaders entered the stadium. Unfortunately for Mark, they were over on the other side of the field, facing that side of the stadium.

“Wait what... Are they going to come on our side too?” said Mark, panicking cause he could barely see them.

“Dude who cares, we’re here for the football,” Matt said finishing his hot dog.

“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.”

All three of them looked at him with wide eyes, wondering why he cared so much.

“Why does it matter so much?” asked Cassidy.

Mark didn’t want to say why, he just kept his mouth quiet and tried to see Tiffany. He could tell which one she was but they were so far away that it wasn’t even worth it.

“Hey look, is that Tiff?? I didn’t know she was cheerleading tonight,” said Cassidy, recognising their RA.

Whether it hit the other two or not, it had certainly hit Matt, his roommate wanted to see Tiffany dance in her cheerleaders outfit.

“Ohhhhh I get it now,” he announced, “You just wanted to see Tiffany dance didn’t you?”

Mark went red, not able to put together any words, he just shook his head.

“Oh my god, you like her don’t you, not in just a “she’s hot” kind of way, you genuinely have feelings for her,” he continued, really embarrassing him now.

Cassidy gave Matt a slight nudge, sensing how uncomfortable Mark was feeling right now.

Soon after, the Eagles football team ran out to a massive round of applause. The other three didn’t notice but Mark watched Travis, one of the players walk over to the cheerleaders on the side of the field and gave Tiffany a big old smooch.

Mark felt his heart sink more, the two looked like such a perfect couple that could easily run for Prom King and Queen.

The next couple of hours was tough viewing for Mark. He sat them underwhelmed as the Eagles went on to destroy their opponent by 41 points. Everyone around him seemed to be enjoying themselves, even Daniel who didn’t know the difference between a football and a soccer ball.

At the end of the game, Mark lost his friends in the stampede to get out of the stadium and back to the dorms as it was pouring down in rain.

However, on his way out, he noticed a very familiar girl in nothing but a cheerleaders outfit making her way through the rain. It was Tiffany.
