You blinked your eyes open again. “I’ll make it to the end of the day.”

“OK, new game,” Sabrina said, looking over at Gemma. “We go through our saved pictures and see which one perks him up the most.”

“That’s not fair at all,” Gemma said. “You take way more pictures than I do, and you do it for content.”

“Fine, use John’s phone, you can pick from the stuff we’ve all sent him,” Sabrina grinned.

“Ooh, alright. That’s more fair,” Gemma said. “John, pass me your phone.”

You sighed. There was no way you were getting out of this unless Eric finished his phone call and came back. And even then, they’d still probably make it work.

“This is a hostile work environment,” you grumbled as you slid your phone across the table to Gemma.
