Under any normal circumstances, this would, without a doubt, have resulted in a double naked mode.

Perhaps it was because of her new perk but Anna showed a cocky smile. “You guys must be getting pretty nervous”, she taunted. “Unfortunately for you, you all have a...”

An especially loud thunder and lightning strike occurred. It sounded a bit like a little brat throwing a tantrum.

Then, seven pieces of clothing fluttered down all around her.

Anna made sure to swoop them up before they got soaked by the rain.

It felt a bit like Cherry had the floor ripped out straight under her feet.

After having enjoyed “calm and collected” for the vast majority of this story, to suddenly no longer having access to it was brutal.

But that wasn’t all of it.

Her plan had failed. She had given up her second Devil Deal for nothing.

A massive torrent of likes was rushing her way.

Compared to Cherry, Anna was having a much worse time.

Running through the rain in a mad dash to make it to the sports areal while she slowly lost more and more clothes was not a pleasant experience.

But that didn’t really solve her wet shirt issue and sure enough. The moment the tighty-whities were out of view, they vanished. Leaving her body clad in nothing but a soaked white shirt and a scarf loincloth.

Oh and the beanie. Let’s not forget the beanie.

However, Anna still had one trump card left.

Thus, she decided to make good use of her new perk the readers so graciously bought for her and entered the clothing store.

“Ah! A new customer! It had been yeeeeeears!”

Preminger did clearly not appreciate to be cut off like that. “I am afraid. You do not seem in possession of the appropriate funds to make an acquisition.”

Anna raised an eyebrow, she was pretty sure she had some money left. Well, sorta. Since it was only a matter of time before the US treasury would collapse, Anna had transferred all her money into crypto assets and Canadian dollars.

“You don’t take foreign currency?”

How annoying. Anna rummaged through her inventory, trying to find anything that was still in decent condition after the tumble.

“What about this Holo Rare Charizard?”

Preminger regarded the card carefully. “Hmmm...ah! I could perhaps be convinced to exchange it for a sock.”

“One measly sock?”, Anna huffed in indignation. “Do you know how much value this card has?”

“We sell clothes here, madame”, the penguin informed her. “You should be glad I am even willing to engage in this...blatant bartering.”

Anna took a deep breath. Game or not, she is not exchanging her Charizard for a sock! Even if the card was slightly rain damaged.

Still, she needed clothes. Entering naked mode will drastically inhibit her ability to help Cherry.

“Gimme a cursed one then.”

The penguin looked at her with a strange expression. “Are you sure? I must inform you that we do not accept refunds.”

“Affirmative”, Anna nodded. With how low her clothes balance was, any curse she got shouldn’t be active for very long in the first place.

In other words, getting as many cursed clothes as possible was the optimal strat.

It was admittedly a bit of a gamble, but Anna decided to take it.

And sure enough, before long Anna was fully dressed again.

As such, she found herself back outside.

Only this time in a fuzzy fursuit, that was getting soaked by the rain like a giant wish mop.

And then there was the scarf.

Putting the scarf down there wasn’t her smartest move either.

Because now that her underpants were gone the itchy thing was almost driving her mad!

Anna cursed, but that resulted in nothing but an angry bark. She tried to pull the scarf out of this costume but…

Not only was she unable to pull the suit off, the thing was also ridiculously tight! And with her hands being two furry paws too, there was no chance in hell to ever get the scarf out!

It’s fine, Anna told herself.

The beanie had already vanished, meaning Anna was down to only three clothes. The chance of losing this suit by next chapter was very high.

But this itching was extremely annoying! She can’t even scratch herself!

Then she noticed the mess she made as the majority of her items had spilled out of the bag and were now just sitting in the rain.

Anna attempted to gather her stuff back up...but with these pawns that was borderline impossible!

All the while the crowd laughed and jeered.

And those were the good ones, others just flat out started stealing her stuff!

But all Anna could do was bark angrily at them, which only amused the crowd even more. Unfortunately, Anna was no longer was afflicted by the “Supergirl” curse, so she did not transform into a dog themed superhero to fight the thieves.

Finally, some onlookers took pity and helped Anna gather whatever was left of her items

“There you go”, said a girl rocking a punk look as she put the rest of Anna’s soaked cards into her bag.

“Woof!”

“Good girl”, the punk smiled and patted her head.

That was definitely enough ridicule for one chapter!

Ignoring the laughter all around her, Anna pressed on. By next chapter she will hopefully finally reach her destination.

Katie herself actually didn’t need that much clean up. Her outfit appeared to have some magic mud repellent quality, because while the rest of her body was completely covered in sludge, her costume was as pristine as ever.

Thus, Cherry finally released her and excited the tub. She looked down on herself, the mud apparently counted as an article of clothing.

However, this was one she definitely did not care for.

Every fifth chapter(10,15, 20 etc) Cherry can appeal to the readers and offer a deal. This deal can be whatever Cherry wants. (clothes, items, perks etc) If the deal is approved will be done by vote. I of course retain the right to veto any deal that’s too absurd.

If Cherry finds herself without clothes she can still cover herself up with her hands and will not enter naked mode until two more like thresholds are reached. This additional buffer will respawn once Cherry successfully makes it through a Naked Mode.
