Free Period

At the chiming of the Academy's enchanted bells that signal the end of first period, you exit the alchemy lab before your classmates, all your materials safely packed back into your satchel, your school-issued cloak trailing behind you as you enter an enormous hallway curiously devoid of students.

At first, Parisa is nowhere to be seen in the throng of students spilling into the hall, chatting amongst themselves, but you soon see her and her boyfriend (seeing him stand now, you can tell he's quite tall, maybe 6'3" compared to Parisa's height of 5'2") walking off hurriedly together, his hand subtlely palming her plush behind beneath her skirt while his other hand stays firmly in the pocket of his black slacks.

It's hard to tell where they're headed considering the enormous size of Ash Forest Academy, but it's the same direction you came from originally - toward the dormrooms of House Pegasus.

What shitty luck, you think. You met a beautiful, virgin witch at your first day of school, got sorted into her house, even ended up being her _roommate _for God's sake, and she has a boyfriend. And of course not just any boyfriend, but one more attractive than you who can make Parisa cream her little panties just by looking at him. Not to mention you were singled out by a Professor on the first day of class. All in all, this is not the ideal start to your magical training, but with some free time ahead of you, you think that perhaps you can turn that around.

As you continue to watch the amorous pair depart, wondering whether you should follow, a tug at your cloak catches your attention. Turning to your left, you see a tiny Asian girl beaming up at you with a smile, displaying her perfect white teeth, contrasting against her deeply-tanned skin and long, black hair.

"Hiya!" She peeps, extending her hand for you to shake, which you do, noting how gentle and soft her grip feels against your own. "You're new at the Academy, right?" You nod, a bit lost for words since she almost certainly noticed you staring at the two retreating lovers. "I'm Kim Leung," she continues, ignoring your silence. "Head of the House Pegasus Hospitality Committee! Since it's Free Period, I'd be more than happy to help show you around school, or answer any questions you might have about the Academy!"

She rattles all of this off with a practiced sense of pride and cheerfulness. If her smile didn't seem so genuine, you'd think she was this friendly to every new student, but something in her dark eyes tells you that Kim actually _would _be happy to spend some time familiarizing you with your new school.

She looks at you expectantly, still grinning from ear to ear. After a moment, you realize she's waiting for a reply. Your eyes dart back to the right and you notice the figures of Parisa and her boyfriend disappearing down the hallway. You have to choose quickly!
