Fred, a Young Man out of Luck

Fred was walking along the edge of the lake at his local park. He saw a man a little younger than himself leave from a good spot next to the lake. Fred wanting a bit of a rest went towards the spot and proceeded to sit where he saw the other man come from. Looking around for something he can take out his frustrations on, given the fact his girlfriend just broke up with him over text an hour prior.

Upon looking around a bit he finds a small stone with some runes on it and decides to pick it up. "Man what a lucky find I wonder what these symbols mean?" He pockets the small stone for later. He continues to sit and think about everything that has happened to him in the past week. From having his rent raised, ripping his favorite pair of jeans, forgetting an umbrella the one day it rained, and finally his girlfriend Beverly breaking up with him. "With finding this cool stone, maybe my luck is finally turning around."
