Fourth Round

Welcome, ladies, gentlemen and all people in between. Wlecome to the fourth round of the ENF tournament. It's the semifinals, things have gotten heated. Champions have fallen, writers have put their sweat and blood into brilliant stories which have seared across the pages.

But who will stand in the final round? Who will fight directly to take the crown?

We are in a bit of an unusual situation this time, folks. You see, due to an unexpected draw, there are three writers who have earned the right to be here today. Please welcome to the semifinal stage, RFK2, creator of Liliana Knite, Mr. E, author of Alice Summers and Ewong, writer of Sandra McIntyre.

Three writers, each of whom had fought and struggled to stand before you now. Each of whom has a chance to make their play for the crown and become the king or queen of the ENF Tournament.

Because there are three people participating, this round will be a special one. The following new rules have been instituted:

• All three writers will fight in the same round. Only one will pass. Likes will determine votes, as always.
• Each writer is free to use the character of either opponent, or indeed, both if they desire it. They also can use their own character too.
• For every champion they include in their story including their own, a writer gains an automatic +1 to their final score. That means that if someone writes a story with all three characters, their final result would be equal to their number of like +3. But in order to count, a character has to actually do something in the story. You can't just have them be a pretty face!

This presents a bit of a challenge for our writers. If they're more comfortable sticking with fewer characters, that may be the best way to go. A well written story will probably gather more likes but if you can include all three, that's an automatic +3 to your results.

Perhaps it's time for some strategic thinking?

In any event, the time limit is the same is ever. Two weeks, 14 days, each author is allowed to deliver 3 chapters at most and a minimum of 1 if they want a chance of advancing.

Everything after that depends on you, readers. You've followed us this far, you've seen champions rise and fall. We stand on the very precipice, so I would ask you to follow us for a little longer.
