Forming A Plan

After Patrick, Sara, and Madison rested from their morning activities for a while, the three of them got dressed and made their way downstairs where Josephine Moore was in the kitchen cooking breakfast. She looked up at them and smiled as they walked in.

“I was beginning to wonder if your three were ever going to come down and get something to eat.” Josephine said.

“Oh you know us, mom, we like to sleep in on the weekend.” Patrick said.

“I am well aware of your sleeping habits, sweetie. So, I am making pancakes and bacon. It should be done soon if you three want any.” Josephine said.

“I will take some. Thanks, Mrs. Moore.” Sara said.

“Enough of that. You can call me Josie, sweetie.” Josephine said.

“Okay. I will do what I can, Josie.” Sara said with the name sounding weird coming off her tongue.

“I will take some too, Aunt Josie.” Madison said and Josephine smiled at her.

“I knew you would. You have always liked my cooking. As often as you eat here, I am surprised that you aren’t one of my own kids.” Josephine said.

“Well, I spend so much time here because of how my dad is. It is the only way to get any peace.” Madison said.

“I am sorry that you have to deal with that. No one should be that strict on their kids.” Josephine said.

Madison nodded back at Patrick’s mom and soon enough, Josephine was done with the pancakes and bacon and passed out plates full to the kids. Josephine ate her food and left the kids so that they could talk. That was when the three of them started to talk about plans to get Madison out of the problems that she was having with Chad.

“I have an idea. I don’t know how well it will work because we are going to need you to get into Chad’s phone. I think that Patrick and I can try to distract him long enough the next time he asks for something and you can possibly delete the evidence.” Sara said.

“It is worth a try. The only problem is that neither of you are close to him. How will you get his attention? It will be easier if we are somewhere kind of public. There would be no reason for the two of you to show up at his house and he would be sure to be suspicious.” Madison said.

“Yeah. All of those do make sense. Do you mind getting Chad to meet you somewhere semi-public? It might be the easiest way to do this.” Patrick said.

“I mean, I did have sex in the boys restroom at school. Although that is what started all of this, it might be the easiest way to get the information.” Madison said.

“Think about it this way. If you find the information on his phone, while we are distracting him, you might not even have to have sex with him this time.” Sara said.

“That is a good way to look at it. Thanks, you two. I don’t know what I would do without you.” Madison said.

“We need to come up with back up plans though. You know, just in case he doesn’t have it on his phone anymore.” Patrick said.

“That’s true, but where else would he keep the evidence?” Madison asked.

“He could have downloaded it to his computer at home, but do you really think Chad is that smart?” Sara asked.

“I don’t know if he is or not, but I am sure that it would be if it is not still on his phone.” Patrick said.

“How would we go about getting rid of it then?” Madison asked.

“Not sure yet, but we will come up with something.” Sara said.

“So, we have one and a half plans. That is a good start, I guess.” Madison said.

“Don’t worry, Maddie. We will work on fleshing out the second plan, but we have to make sure that we are smart about it.” Patrick said and Madison nodded.

“We will get you out of this, Maddie. Don’t worry.” Sara said and Madison gave her a smile.

“I know. I just hope it is soon. He seems to be escalating things everytime we meet up. There's no telling what he will come up with next.” Madison said.

“Maybe I can just smash his phone the next time that I see him.” Madison said.

“It wouldn’t be a bad idea, but then you might have to buy him a new phone, because we know that Chad is petty enough to make you do that.” Patrick said.

“Yeah, I think that should be the last resort. I would say that you should still try to break into it first and if that doesn’t work, you can smash it.” Sara said.

“If I break it though, Chad might mention where he is actually keeping the information if it isn’t on his phone.” Madison said.

“Chad is stupid like that. He would brag that you broke his phone for no reason if he has it saved somewhere else. It might be worth the trouble of breaking his phone.” Patrick said.

“That is a good point. Maybe break into it first and if the information isn’t there, then you can break it.” Sara said and the other two nodded knowing that Sara was right.

“Okay, so we have two solid plans now. Maybe we can finish out the other plan and that would be enough.” Patrick said.

“Yep. I think we have a good idea of what to do now. I am feeling better about all of this.” Madison said.

“I am glad that you are feeling better. I just wonder how we will get on his home computer to get the evidence erased.” Sara said.

“I might have an idea on that, but I will have to see if it is doable.” Patrick said.

“What is your idea?” Madison asked.

“Maybe I can hack into his computer or get someone to do it for us. I am planning to join the family business after college so I am constantly learning new things. I don’t know if I know how to do it myself, but I could probably find someone who could.” Patrick said.

“Let’s use that as the last option. I would rather this just stay between the three of us and not add someone else in, you know.” Madison said.

“Yeah, I understand that. It is best to keep the circle that knows about this small.” Patrick said.

“It is a good thought though. If we knew that you could do it yourself, I would say that we should just do that and not worry about the other two plans.” Sara said.

“We know enough people that would keep a secret if we have to go outside of the group though. I mean, we could ask dad, but I know you don’t want to go there. Maybe some of the people in the computer club at school could help as well.” Patrick said.

“That’s not a bad idea if it comes down to us having to go that far. I think I would rather use some people at school than to ask your dad though. I don’t want him to think badly of me.” Madison said.

“You know my dad would never think bad of you. Plus, I am in it too. If anything, he will probably get mad at me.” Patrick said.

“I can see that. He would ask why you would even think about doing something like that in public.” Sara said.

“It was my idea though. I am the one who dragged you in there.” Madison said.

“Dad wouldn’t care. He would probably still blame it on me because I went through with it.” Patrick said.

“Then we definitely won’t be asking your dad then. I don’t want you to get into trouble for something that was my idea.” Madison said.

“We will worry about that if that time ever comes. Right now, I say we just focus on the first two plans first.” Patrick said.

“Yep, those two will be the easiest. If we see that that is not going to work, then we think about who we want to bring in to help us.” Sara said.

“Sounds good. So onto better topics. What do you two have planned for the day?” Madison asked her two friends.

“Oh, nothing much. Probably just relax a bit and maybe watch a movie or something before Sara has to go home.” Patrick said.

“You know, you are welcome to join us. I was serious about what I said this morning about joining the two of us in a relationship. I wouldn’t mind you joining us at all.” Sara said.

“I appreciate that. I will think about it, but I think I will join you for that movie though. The longer I can stay away from dad, the better.” Madison said and the other two nodded in agreement.

Now that the group had some plans that they would use to get Madison out of the trouble that she was in, the three of them made their way into the living room where the tv was set up and they turned it on and found a movie on one of Patrick’s streaming networks and watched it. They ended up picking Avenger Endgame being that all three of them were into action movies and it was a great movie to watch even though all three of them had already watched it multiple times.

As the three of them sat there, with Patrick in the middle and Sara on his left and Madison on his right, Patrick knew that he could get used to this. His best friend in the world was with him and his new girlfriend was also with him. He knew that he was lucky to have such great women in his life and he was going to make sure that he didn’t mess this up. He didn’t know what the future held for him and Madison other than them just being friends, but he knew that would never change no matter what and he couldn’t be happier about that. As for Sara, he was happy to be in a relationship with her and he was looking forward to seeing where things went for them. To say that he was the happiest guy in the world wouldn’t be much of a stretch.
