Former childhood friend turn enemy (female)

(Somewhat inspire by Eugene-Oregon's chapter)

There was a time you and Candy were inseparable. Best friends since kindergarten, the two of you practically did every thing: playdates, birthday parties, sleepover, dance competitions. You two comforted and defended each other on countless countless accounts. One time, she caked a guy who was being a jerk to you, and one time, when she lost her swimsuit at an eight grade swim party, you covered and made sure no one noticed a thing. You loved each other, and it seem impossible to imagine not being live long best friends.

But then high school happened, and she joined the cheerleaders. The two of you were in different social circles and grew apart. You tried to maintain your friendship with Candy, but she would just brush you off or ignore you. You weren't 'cool enough' or 'popular enough' to hang out with her. What really stung is that her new best friend is Rebecca, your rival.

She used to just ignore you, but when she heard your remarks about the cheerleading them, she became a lot more mean. She would make crude remarks and comments about your body and how you have now friends, which make no since you have an attractive body and plenty of friends. She calls you a slut and a loser, which really hurts, but you don't show it.

Despite this, she and the cheerleaders haven't done anything serious to you. And maybe you're imagining it, but you swear to seeing a glimpse of sadness and guilt in Candy's eyes when she makes her insults. You really wish you two would rekindle.
