His head move straight towards your, for a second your heart leaps, thinking your going to feels those burning lips on yours, then suddenly...

His head swerves up and he plants that kiss on your forehead, as if you were some kind of bratty child. Noticing your disappointment, Alex just grins widely and ruffles your silver hair, and, with a flippant, "See ya!" he twirls around and vanishes back into the hospital.

You stand staring at the doors until a security guard comes over and shoos you away. Being a fairy, you instinctively take flight as the centaur guard shouts up at you, but you ignore him and fly high up to be alone with your thoughts. While up there, you notice a nasty looking storm rolling in at a brisk pace. It's a summer thunder storm from the South and it's headed in the same direction as your village to the north. There's no way you can outrun it, so you have to decide whether to stay airborne and get jostled by the winds, or struck by lightning or worse; or do you land and spend a good three hours walking home?
