I want this to be as free-form as possible, so I think three guidelines should do the trick

If you want to have your writing affect another author's work, clear it with them first.
Coordinate with other writers, and if it works, have events of their stories shape the events of yours.
If you are having a serious problem with another writer, talk to me and I will try to resolve it.
