“Hey, thanks for showing up, Nerra… you really saved my ass back there” Samora said, walking over to the vehicle.

“Anytime, Captain,” Nerra said, retrieving her rifle. It was a little scratched and might need recalibrating before she shot it again, but it would live. “What’s the damage? Where are the others?”

“Tamara went off to try and repair the turret, and I sent Luna out to scout the area—I haven’t heard back from either of them since…” Samora said, pushing the dead Rapi with her foot.

“What about Monique?” Nerra asked. Samora shook her head, and was about to respond when a particularly moan of particular enjoyment rang out throughout the hanger. The two fell silent and Nerra became aware of the mixed sounds of grunting and moaning coming from the far end of the loading bay. The grunting was eerily similar to that of one or more Rapi heavies and the moaning… the moaning was definitely Monique.
