The redheaded elf scholar decides to descend down the stone pathway. It leads to a series of deserted catacombs. She eventually runs into a male elf, but once she gets close she sees his eyes are glassy and he tries to subdue her. More thralls appear and wrestle her to the ground, until at last the mindflayer appears. It seals all her memories and knowledge of elven history and culture, which are made more powerful because she is the last being alive that knows them. Each memory flashes quickly before her eyes before it is ripped away forever and Lina is left only with a feeling of profound loss as she is turned into a mindless bimbo. The mind flayer gloats that all of elven culture will now be erased, and like its other thralls she'll serve as a vessel for his brood
