Follow the golem

You cautiously approach the now very suspicious-looking tapestry on the wall. On inspection it seems to be fluttering oddly, and when you push it aside you reveal a large tunnel entrance! It delves deeper into the rock, too dark for you see where it might lead. This must be where the golem went.

You murmur a quick prayer the monster didn't immediately decide to turn around and you step through into the swallowing darkness.

You can't even see the walls of the tunnel as you fumble your way along, **** to keep one hand trailing along the wall and the other held out straight ahead. The tunnel curves and dips down several times along its length. You can only guess which direction you're going or where you could even end up.

Eventually your hand collides with something wet. You gingerly bring your hand to your face and smell something deeply earthy. It's... mud?

Uh oh.

You try to turn around but in the darkness only manage to smack into the wall, your resulting fall cushioned by the enveloping grip of a giant hand. With effortless ease the golem lifts you into the air and you feel yourself carried back the way you came.

You never did have any luck.
