Follow the glowing stream.

The group continued down the bank of the stream, their path illuminated by the mystical glow. Soon the stream split around a thick tree, flowing evenly down two paths.

"That's a strange thing for a river to do," Ria said.

"Definitely magic," said Hanna. "Wait..." Hanna brushed aside some ferns at the base of the tree. There were several carvings in the ancient bark, and they glowed with the same light as the stream. "It's an ancient Fay site! The symbols here give instructions."

"What if we don't want to follow the instructions?" Josk said.

"Then the Fay might be very angry with us," Hanna said.

"You don't want that," Karn sneered. "Angry Fay are equally likely to kill you as they are to fuck you. They're a fickle sort."

"What does the tree want us to do?" Brudd said. "If we're going to meet Fay, I'd rather we did the fucking."

Hanna translated: "It says the stream leads to two sacred pools. We divide our group in two. Men to the left, women to the right. Then we bathe in the pools, and receive the blessing of the Fay lords and ladies."

"That sounds... pretty sexy, actually," Denni said.

"I'd rather bathe with the girls than the three of you," Brudd chuckled. "But if we are to be blessed by Fay ladies, I can endure."

"Okay, let's try this out," Ria said. The seven champions divided down gender lines. Josk, Brudd, Denni, and Karn followed the stream to the left, and Ria, Hanna, and Yolna followed the stream to the right.
