Follow Patrick story

Patrick is a plain man with his brown hair and eyes and his average physique, but he was smart and kind. He doesn’t stand out in a group, most of the times he blends in. He is the contrary of his best friend, Steve who is handsome, athletic and quite charming with the lady. Patrick is a bit shy when it comes to girls. That the reason things got weird between him and his best friend Steve. Once a long time ago they had vowed to never let girls come between them, but college arrived and everything change.

On the first days of college, Patrick noticed a beautiful and smart girl by the name of Lauren. Unfortunately for Patrick, his best friend Steve ended up hooking up with her during one wild party. They dated for a few months before breaking up a few weeks before leaving for this vacation when everything was already booked. Lauren manages to come with them any way she was too much excited about this trip to let the break up with Steve stranded her at home.

Most of the trip from home to the island was awkward. Steve and Patrick barely spoke to each other except for small talk. Steve never spoke a word to his ex-girlfriend. Patrick didn’t dare approach Lauren during the trip because he was still in love with her and didn’t want to worsen things up between him and Steve. Joey and Kim were trying to be a good couple but ended up fighting all the way to the island. And Shane was too shy to speak to anyone other than Patrick, so he ended up looking at his smartphone all the way.

Welcome, all to Pleasure Island, heaven on Earth. We want that your stay here as pleasurable as could be. Here, at the resort we had developed a unique and refreshing experience, we call it the game. The game begins at midnight and will end in seven days, twelve hours before your departure. We have created a unique system of points. You start with a precise number of points, the basic package is 50 points, and premium is 200 points. You will earn points participating in activities around the island. Throughout the game, you may earn a bonus that will help you or a penalty that could hinder your progress. Imagine the games like a real-life video game. The main purpose of the game is to have fun. Don’t worry if you get a penalty you may find some pleasure in that too.

You will need points to buy clothes, food, drink and other items you want for your trip. To help you follow the progression of points we will give you a smartwatch that will register the activity you’ve done and credit you the right number of point. Don’t worry the algorithm we have developed here is programmed with a large scope of activities, so you don’t have to come see us and tell us what you’ve done. We don’t spy on our guess, everything you do stay confidential. It is only monitored by the program found on your watch.

Most of you have the basic package and begin the game with 50 points. You have enough points to get your casual clothing, a swimsuit, and food for three days. If you desperately need points you can always ask another guess to lend you some. Beware you will be in their debts. For that specific number of points.

After the speech, the group decides that they had enough of that weird atmosphere between them and needed a break for a few hours. They say goodbye to each other and moved directly to their room to wait for the beginning of the game.

Patrick had to take a different elevator from the rest of the group because the cabin was full. A few minutes later he arrived near his room. He saw Lauren beside her door. She was about to enter her room. Patrick rushed towards her.

Lauren saw him too. She decides to wait for him, but she acted like she didn’t saw him. When Patrick arrived near her he embraced her with his strong arms. When Lauren and Steve were together, Patrick and Lauren had some times to know each other. Lauren fell in love with the sweet guy. One day when both were a bit drunk Patrick confessed his crush for her. After the revelation, she left without saying a word. The very next day, it was over with Steve. It took a week before they got to see each other, and it was very special for them when they did.

“OK, but we shouldn’t stay here in the corridor someone is bound to see us together. I know that we should be in our room before the beginning of the game, but don’t you want to go see the sunset down on the beach?” ask Lauren “It will be fun, but we must be careful.” Continue Lauren.
