Follow Daisy.

Aster glanced between the oak and her friend, feeling torn. She really did want to find out what was going on, her instincts were whispering danger, danger and she hadn't the faintest idea what could be wrong. On the other hand, she really wanted to go with Daisy...

Feeling rebellious and irresponsible, Aster dived for the flower bed, delighting in Daisy's surprised squeak as she whistled past. Settling on a flower, she looked on regally as Daisy landed beside her looking frazzled. "I thought you wanted me to catch up? You were the one who took your time getting here." Daisy gave her a light shove, mouth peeking up at the corners despite her best efforts to look grumpy.

They chatted for a bit, about nonsensical things mostly, gradually sidling closer. The closer she got to Daisy the harder it became to think about what she was going to say and soon they lay pressed up against each other, looking into the others eyes. Aster couldn't put a name on what she was feeling, it was a completely new experience. Daisy just looked so... pretty. Aster didn't want to look away and the contact with Daisy's soft skin made her heart flutter wildly.

"What is this?" she asked, hoping her friend would have some insight. "I don't know, isn't it wonderful?" Daisy leaned in and gently planted a kiss on Aster's lips.
