She stood from the desk. Worst case scenario, Canari was pranking her for a video. Best case, maybe she'd discover a regional variant of a Beldum or something.

She followed Canari out of the lab and down a dark alley, her suspicions growing before...

"Oh!" said Mabel. "That's not a Beldum. It's a...Mega Malamar."

Malamar emerged from his hiding spot and began to swirl his tentacles in front of Mabel.

"I've never seen a mega Malamar up close before," Mabel said, eyes already falling on the tentacles. "It's so...mesmerizing."
