What does Zac do?

Follow - Conflict

"Hey .. wait.. JUST... FUCK!" Zac grunted loudly as he quickly slapped on some clothes and chased after her. Nothing fancy just a new set of his clothes, the trucker bought in bulk so had a lot of copies of his outfit save for the heavy jacket it.

He briefly noted that it felt a little tighter and wondered if he gained more weight or something. The angry orange woman didn't get too far as she seemed to be scanning doors and the labels on them. She still had her lowered eyebrows and curled lip, the same look she had given him every time she looked at him. Seemed where-ever they were did not suit her tastes but at this point, Zak wasn't sure what would suit her taste. She rolled her eyes and gave a small 'ugh' when she saw him coming.

"I'm aware you are ABLE to hear and you seem able to COMPREHEND so what part of 'stay out of my sight' is a problem to you?" She growled as she spun on her heels and walked away. Well, floated away; her feet quickly left the floor and she hovered about a hand's length off the ground.

"Hold up we aren't done!" Zak said as he picked up his pace to walk along side her, "Where the heck are we? Why is that space out there and why are we on a ship? Wait how'd you know we were on a ship on the first place and..."

Zak once again found himself pushed up a wall by his throat. The woman was just too fast for him to get out of the way, even when he expected some sort of an attack to come. He swung a hand out to try and push her away but she caught it and slammed it against the wall too. Her lips pursed up in thought as she shook the trapped wrist a bit while putting on just a bit more pressure.

"Odd. You're not broken yet. I assumed this much would be enough to shatter something in this limb of yours." She mused while Zak fought for air, "Here I thought you were a normal human."

"KAFF..., there you go again with 'human' like we're different. Yeah okay, you're orange tinged but you look just as human as I am, Koma so maybe knock it off...." He was cut off by more pressure to his neck and a slight glow to her eyes. Like when she had just laser beamed.

"You, will not address me as SUCH. To you, I am Blackfire now and forever or so long as you can comprehend it, understand?" she growled. She shifted her grip from his next to covering his mouth before he could say anything. "No, I don't want to hear excuses or begging, address me as Blackfire or I rip your tongue out. Do you understand?"

Zac glared by slowly nodded. Her hold lightened just a bit so it didn't feel like her fingers were digging into his skin and even her eyes stopped glowing. The edges still were lit up and..., well he was starting to get lost in her eyes again. If she wasn't so brutal, she'd be a knock out though at this rate she would just knock HIM out, physically.

"Good. Now listen, you are human and beneath me. I am a Tamaranean warrior, and ROYALTY at that. You will address me with due respect for my station..., or my power. I don't care which one you pick." She lectured as she learned close enough for her breath to be felt, "My race are powerful warriors or perhaps your race is just so lowly that even a child could pick you up and toss you like a twig. You may have caught me off guard before but I won't be tricked a.... second... time?" Blackfire's eyes slowly shifted away from him, gazing past him at something on the wall as her words trailed off.

"Hmmm...," She muttered as blew some air in frustration, "Weak your race may be, you've always had a disturbing amount of luck. Distracted by the contract, then the ash near you, and now this...; Perhaps that's why my Sister favors your kind. So you can just stay here while I deal with possibly the servant girl..., or maybe concubine."

Blackfire easily just tossed him behind her and operated the door he had been held up against. Zac hadn't even realized he was up against a door rather than the one of the walls. Blackfire quickly walked through as Zac got up and cracked his back a bit to put it back into place. She hadn't harmed him outright but the woman wasn't easy on him either. Getting slammed into metal a couple times today was **** on his back..., or should have been. It didn't hurt as much as he expected. Wondering what took Blackfire's attention so much, he walked up to the labels and started to take a look.

It was a pair of them, one written in English and the other in some weird language..., probably Blackfire's. It was the other bedroom he had seen before, after Blackfire had tossed him out the main bedroom. At the time, he hadn't been able to see due to the angle but there seemed to be a name attached to it but the lighting made it hard to make out and the stars were still in his eyes from being man handled.... woman handled? He took a moment to close his eyes and focus before opening them again for a better look.

"MINION!" came the shout and the familiar grip on his neck.

"AGAIN?!?! DAMN IT I'm not some sort of rag doooooooo..." Zak cried as Blackfire pulled him inside the room.

It was a smaller room than the one he had woken up in but it was a bedroom. With a lot of bright colors compared to the cooler and raw steel colors. Lots of pink and yellow, with a couple blues and bright greens that made up the surface area of the room. Several toys were placed around and the reading material that was visible was for a young child rather than two adults. So rather than an extra bedroom or guest room, it was modeled to be a children's room. The fact a child was on the bed confirmed it. Covered in a soft blue glowing field with a floating screen next to it, the child laid out under the covers unmoving. But even through the blue tint, Zac knew that blonde color of her hair and the small figure that would rest in his arms.

The sleeping form was Layla, his daughter.

He was about to rush towards her when the grip on the back of his neck tightened, forcing him to heal like some sort of animal. Blackfire was still in control here, or whatever she decided to call herself. Zac didn't care about that right now, he had to see if his daughter was safe. And then have to protect her from this... monster.

"Lemme... Go...," He growled, trying to get free or even strike back.

Blackfire grunted and did so, pushing him forward hard enough to send him stumbling. He slammed into the floating screen and saw stars again. When Blackfire didn't do anything after that, his eyes refocused back to the screen. There was only a paragraph and a timer, along with a check-mark and an 'X'. He started to read and process what was there.

"Komand'r of Tamaeran and Zak Tanner; by the powers invested in Cupid's Wish, we believe a full family is a happy family! As such, we have deemed it preferable to bring along Zak's daughter, Layla Tanner into this new chapter of everyone's life. For safety reasons, we shall restrain Layla for 24 hours in stasis, to allow the newly weds to work out any issues with the current set up. However if you wish to release her early, simply press here. Once again we hope you have a wonderful new life and thank you for using Cupid's Wish."

"What the hell, they brought her with us?" Zak blurted out as he reached for the release. Only for a hand to stop him.

"Excuse you, what the hell are you doing?" Blackfire said, her grip tightening, "Dealing with you is problem enough, I don't want to deal with whatever kind of spawn you might have...., WAIT Why are you EVEN MARRIED to me if you have a child?!? You HAVE a WIFE already!!"

"HAD!" Zac said turning to face Blackfire, his jaw clenched hard, "I HAD a wife and currently, I think I'd take her OVER you! You're bossy, uncaring and just a right BITCH. Why the fuck I got matched with YOU of all people I don't know but you can just FUCK OFF if you think I'm gonna just let my daughter sit there in that stupid field!"

"You stupid worm I should just..." Blackfire started but Zak kept going.

"Just burn me to ash, FINE go for it. You said it yourself, we have some sort of life bond, you wanna go I'll just drag you down in flames too. But UNLIKE you I got something worth living for. The last thing I want to do is leave Layla alone in some ship by herself; that's dooming her to ****. At least if you're around, you'll hate me and leave her the HELL alone." He shouted.

"Neither of us want this but you've been bossing me the fuck around since we woke up so calm your god damn tits and listen! I'll help you break whatever sick thing put us together if you just leave my daughter alone!"

"No one orders me AROUND you stupid..." Blackfire's eyes were filled with that bright purple color again as she brought her hands upward before slamming them downward as she took a step closer.

But in her rage, Blackfire's arm went out further than she intended to, slamming against the floating screen. The pair paused as they turned to see what just happened because of it.

What did Blackfire do?
