Folder - Weres

"Well what is this?" Rouge thought to herself as she tapped away at her keyboard and opened the folder that peeked her interest.

Rouge looked a folders talking about Weres. As in 'Werehog'. She recalled the oddity of Werehog Sonic and figured Eggman would try to research into copying that strange ability, as a way to possibly empower his minions. The man was predictable about collecting data, for better or for worse

While the fight against Dark Gaia was over, dissipated back into the hole it had crawled out of, according to the data; there were still lingering energies in the world. Pooling together in long forgotten lands and dark corners of the world. While these energies seemed to lack the full darkness and power while Dark Gaia was active; the tests Eggman had done showed that it's transformative properties were still in effect.

While the term 'Were' was tossed around due to how Sonic seemed to under go a Were-Wolf like transformation into his Were-'Hog' form, Eggman much preferred the term 'Dire' in his testing. These 'Dires' were always stronger and faster than their base forms and far more aggressive. They lacked the supernatural powers that Were-Sonic has shown such as his stretching ability or his dark energies. That and unlike the 'Weres' of myth, had no way of passing the infection. At least not on their own.

Still, average strength Mobian could suddenly find themselves powerful enough to bend steel easily, and add several miles to their speed. A few that had other abilities showed increases in those areas too, but it seemed to be proportional based on already present abilities. And the change seemed to fair an increase in strength and stamina over anything else like flight or speed.

Eggman had yet to solve the problem of aggressiveness in subjects though. Currently his solution had been another mind control invention of some kind, or just use them as a fire and forget weapons/distractions. Given that these Weres/Dires still had the problem of turning back to normal during the day or under **** mental stress, Eggman was sure the random **** and confusion they would make in a population center would give him enough time to do whatever plan or deed he needed done.

For her part though Rouge was taking the ideas in another direction. Enhanced speed and strength for her missions and under the table activities. And she didn't mean just crimes either; she ran her tongue over her lips at the thought of some of those 'dire' cocks pleasing her and the massive curves that female subjects showed off.

"Damn.... girls like that give even Vanilla a run for their money." she thought as she downloaded the data to her mobile. It was time to go do some investigation.

Thus far G.U.N. hadn't taken any samples but Eggman probably had a few more on hand. With the data in hand, Rouge was pretty sure she could figure out where he'd be keeping some of it by cross referencing missing reports and large animal sightings. Or she could try to go off after one of these sources listed. It'd be more dangerous of course, but with access to the research and a few bribed techs, maybe Rouge could get something out of it.
