Flex and Stud plead their cases

The phone call was incredibly tense.

Stud and Flex were clearly in competition over something, the boss could easily tell that from the moment they got him on the phone, but, this was much different.

This was more intense than usual.

The boss quickly figured out that this argument was about something much bigger, than whatever they were telling him.

They quickly laid their cases out to the boss, each making surprisingly good points, before asking them for their ruling.

All they got in response was a sigh followed by long silence.

They recognized the jealousy in Stud's voice and how it was exacerbated by Flex's arrogance.

The last thing the Muties needed was a fight over a woman, especially between these two.

After a bit of thinking, they decided that the solution they'd come to wasn't the best, but they had their reasons for what they was about to do.

"I'll meet you both half way." They began.

"Rogue doesn't need to know anything about us just yet, so, Flex, I want you to keep her...distracted."

They said with an unseen smirk.

"And Stud, you're to move in with Flex and keep a close eye on Rogue whenever Flex is busy, then, when the time is right, we'll recruit her, but I want to make sure everything is on the up and up with her." They said, getting some grumbles in response but, ultimately, neither of them was going to challenge the boss.

Once the call was finished, Flex and Stud took a moment to realize just what would happen.

Flex was going to spend most of his free time fucking Rogue and Stud was going to have to be a watchdog for when he wasn't there.

Every time Rogue was in the apartment, it would be Stud's job to make sure Rogue stayed out of trouble.

"Well, we're stuck in this sitcom bullshit." Stud said with a head shake.

"Yeah, well this sitcom better be canceled a few episodes in." Flex responded.

He sent Stud off to get her stuff so she could move in, and then he turned his attention back to Rogue.

Hopefully they'd be able to get a quickie in before Stud returned.
