Chapter 18 by extreme1000

What does Flex do?

Flex Checks in

He realized that he soon might be in a bit of trouble if he didn't at least briefly check in with the rest of the Muties.

That would help him take his mind off of Rogue, who was proving to be just as addictive as the **** he peddled.

As much as he enjoyed fucking her, he still had a job to do and he had to keep things in perspective.

He arrived at the meeting and everyone quizzed him on where the hell he'd been.

The others quickly figured out something was up, but wasn't something they were going to pry out of Flex.

Not that they were surprised as he always played it close to the vest.

Everyone in the Muties had their secrets so the mentality was to keep your head down and your mouth shut and keep your nose out of each other's business.

"Anything big going on?" Flex asked, hoping for a quick 'no' so he could go back to focusing on Rogue.

"Heard some rumors, but nothing concrete." His compatriot said.

Flex let out an annoyed sigh, it was clear that something was going on, but he was being kept in the dark about it.

Perhaps others had learned about his recent closeness to Rogue, and that closeness already had them concerned, which meant that they would keep him at arms length until she proved her worth to them.

If they were concerned, then they probably already realized that he'd pick Rogue over them every single time.

For Flex, pussy as good as Rogue's was far more valuable than anything the Muties could offer.

After a bit of a wait, the video wall activated and soon the mysterious leader of the gang was on screen, his face obscured by darkness.

"We are making great progress." He began as Flex listened intently, eager to see what was going on.

"The X-men are in more trouble they've ever been in before and it's all thanks to you, my Muties." He said with a small chuckle.

Flex wasn't 100 percent sure, but he suspected that the leader of the group (who was only known as G) didn't really seem to believe that.

Even if Flex had only met him a few times, it was clear that he viewed the gang as little more than foot soldiers and nothing else.

Something about that had begun to annoy him.

Maybe it was the fact that being around Rogue made him feel like he important, but Flex had come to feel like he (and the rest of the Muties) deserved more credit.

They had taken the fight to the X-Men and had defeated them so badly that it had sent Rogue into a downward spiral, which led her right to him.

If he played his cards right, that could be more of a bonanza to the Muties than any previous recruitment.

As such, he felt like his profile should be growing among them.

Of course, given recent events, maybe Rogue was a lot harder to control than he'd previously thought.

Which meant that he'd have to keep her away from the others until he could figure out how to keep her in check.

Still, that didn't mean he wasn't gonna have fun in the meantime.

He took Rogue's recent aggression as a challenge to him and Flex loved few things more than overcoming a challenge.

He had gotten so lost in his thoughts that he couldn't even listen to G as he spoke.

So much so that one of his fellow muties jabbed him in the side to get his attention.

"What?" Flex asked her, anger in his voice.

"I asked you how things were going with...her..." An annoyed G said, catching Flex off guard, the usual condescension in his voice that he got whenever he spoke to Flex was still there, which irritated the hell out of Flex.

It was clear that G didn't want to outright say it was Rogue that he was asking about and potentially cause any loose lips to sink this particular ship, so Flex decided not to ask who he was asking about.

"Things are going alright, so far." Flex said, his tone making it clear that he didn't want to talk about it in front of the other Muties.

G recognized that and decided to just quickly get through this meeting, as there wasn't much for him to actually say.

Flex realized that he was probably in a bit of trouble, but it was something he'd have to accept.

G was not to be questioned.

After a bit of other business, the rest of the Muties were dismissed with Flex being ordered to stay behind.

If that's what G wanted, then Flex wasn't going to argue with him.

He just hoped he'd be quick about this.

What happens next?
