Chapter 6 by SweetDepravity SweetDepravity

What do you do?

Firstly, leave this wretched place

The concept of your evolution is still a heavy one, it's as if you've become an entirely new being. Eventually, you realize that the possibilities are simply too vast to assess at the moment, you can work out a plan as you go along. It's an unusual first, as you've always been keen on careful planning, as opposed to diving into danger like your sister.

But that was the old Abby. Now, things are different.

If you're going to accomplish anything, you need to get out of this musty tomb. Walking is a bit stranger now, but you slowly become accustomed to the movements of this form. You seem to be more graceful, as if guided by some sense of balance that you've never before noticed. Of course, your weight has been generously shifted, which might play a part. Your footsteps barely even make a sound as you search through the winding halls, surveying the pyramid for some sort of exit.

After some time, your freshly enhanced vision manages to catch a glimpse of sunlight, that has to be the way!

Following the sparse light, you soon find yourself staring down a bright stone hall, at the end of which is an open doorway just large enough for you to pass through. The harsh, artificial light of the desert streams through, illuminating the lengthy hallway. Just as you begin to race towards your freedom, a large shadow drops from the ceiling, blocking your path and forcing you to a screeching halt.

"Leaving so soon?"

Immediately you recognize the owner of that teasing hiss, it's the spider, back to finish what she started. But before, you weren't sure what to expect from the hybrid horror. And now, you have a few tricks of your own. Widening your stance, you prepare for conflict, your fingers curled to display those sharpened talons.

"I wouldn't dream of running off without bidding you farewell," you purr dangerously, actually feeling quite good about your chances. In fact, this new feeling is almost cocky.

Sure, the Spider-Woman still has the size advantage, but that only means you should be able to outmaneuver her. Aside from that, you both posses the same venomous fangs. That might make you immune to each other's toxins, but you'd rather not find out. At least it's going to be a fair fight, but it'll be far from easy. Your muscles tense powerfully, before launching at the enormous arachnid with a predatory screech, almost eager to see what your new body can do in a scrap.

Do you win?
