First she tells him about Winter, then reluctantly Willow.

"Okay... So, first, my sister," Weiss said, taking a deep breath as she considered how to speak of her.

"I'm listening," Jaune coaxed her.

"Well... She's a bit of a hardass..." Weiss said bluntly.

"I'm not surprised," Yang sniggered. "You'd need a lot of discipline to put up with a lady with a stick up her rear..."

"Yang..." Jaune sighed, seeing Weiss start to rage at Yang. "Go on Weiss..."

"Right... Yeah, she's always quite serious about her duties in the Atlas military, so yeah, big on discipline and following orders. Stickler for the rules and all that... She's always kind to me though, keeps checking in, acting like a mother to me, given..." she trailed off.

"...wait... Something up with your mom Weiss?"

Weiss sighed and said, "Mom is... Well, my dad only married her in order to take over the Schnee Dust Company. And now she's stuck in a loveless marriage with him, and he has driven her into a depression... And she drinks a lot... She hasn't really done anything about the unethical things my dad does with the company, just complies with him and sticks with the marriage..."

"Oh jeez," Jaune blinked.

"She used to be a loving parent, willing to chew dad out, like when he forgot about my tenth birthday, and thus wasn't present..." she said, shifting uncomfortably, and was about to say more, when Jaune brought up a hand to forestall her.

"That's enough, you don't have to continue, I'm sorry for making you talk about that..."

"It's fine," she replied.

"Even so, that's enough for now," Jaune replied with a sigh, feeling a little guilty for bringing that up with Weiss.
