First roundtable -- Suspicions (Dee)

The last of the woman who hadn't spoken yet continued to pace around the table in a clockwise pattern. She pulled her notebook from the side band of her pants and began to flip through it thoughtfully, while holding the capped ballpoint pen in her mouth. "Hmmm..."

Linda lowered her eyebrows with a critical expression. "There's no point in the theatrics. You've been pretty clear about who you intend to accuse all night," she scolded the lady detective.

"Please, do not rush me. I have been so focused on collecting the other accusations. I have not fully organized my own. I am not the type to draw conclusions without evidence. I want this to be airtight."

"Are you insulting the rest of us? Your vote doesn't count for any more than ours did!" Yara pointed out, frowning and leaning across the table. "Tell her, Brunhilde!"

"She's right. This isn't 'your case.' Don't get too high and mighty," the blond agreed, slapping her hand down on the table. You weren't sure if she actually cared about being outvoted or if she was just always looking for a fight.

"P-Please, everyone, don't take it out on the table..." Tallula sobbed, wringing her hands together. "You're going to make Old Eric so mad... S-Sorry, Mr. Waterbury, I mean!"

"I didn't mean to keep you all in suspense. Or to make Mr. Waterbury mad. Let's hurry it along then," Dee finished, snapping her notebook shut and raising her eyes back to the crowd.
