First lesson

*Now my Champion, I'm not here speaking within your mind simply for the pleasurable company. I've come to give you your first lesson in the real world. Raise your hand and concentrate.* Freya commanded while wondering how long this might take for him to master the spell she was about to teach him. He raised his hand to chest height wondering just how high he needed it. He quickly concentrated on his inner being. He quickly found a feeling of power he'd never felt before and focused in on that feeling. *Excellent work, now focus the power into your hand.* She was impressed at how easily he was catching on. He took a steadying breath as he focused on moving the power into the palm of his hand. "Perfect, now push the power outwards and say Command Center!* She smiled knowing he'd feel how pleased she was with his progress so far.

"Command Center!" He spoke softly but with conviction something would happen. He felt the power leave his hand and rush outwards to impact on a spot about a foot away from him. His eyes widened as the power coalesced into a blueish portal. *Excellent work my Champion! Now you have access to a pocket dimension I've created especially for you! Step through the portal!* She watched from her realm as he did as she commanded. "So what is this place for Goddess?" he looked around as he stepped through into a completely furnished marble chamber. *This is your Command Center, here you'll plan out your campaigns in my name. You'll notice three doors, the first leads to your armory. In the armory you'll find every weapon or piece of armor you might every want. You'll also be able to design your own weapons and armor here as well. Through the second door you'll find your training area. As my Champion you'll need to train often to keep your knowledge and flexibility at optimal. Through the third door, you'll find living quarters. I've added those simply because there will be times you might need to rest uninterrupted. While your here in the command center, your outside of time meaning that while your here no time at all is moving in the real world. You'll probably wish to use it for studying as well. This is your command center, use it as you please but I will be expecting you to be armed at all times and training frequently.* Freya smiled again at how else he might choose to use the space.

"My Goddess, thank you! This will be a very useful space." He spoke sincerely knowing this area might very well change how well he did in school. He moved through the space to open the door marked for the armory and was surprised at how extensive the weaponry was. He stopped just inside to contemplate what he should arm himself with. He didn't want a weapon so obvious he'd immediately be arrested at school but knew she expected him to have something on him regardless. He settled for a small yet impressive stun gun that would fit under the suit jacket and attach to his belt. He also grabbed a small dagger with a strap to attach it to his forearm. Once armed he stepped back into the central room to find Freya standing there. "This is another benefit. If I manifest too often on the material plane the other Gods will begin to take notice. As I said before, we need to move slowly for a time. Now, I've arranged for one of my priestess' to join you in a few days. This priestess will be your aide de camp and back up. She'll be in contact with the rest of my network. She'll be your contact with me in those times when you might not be able to get in contact with me yourself." Freya smiled thinking this was working better than she'd originally thought it might.
