First ever battle against Brendan.

The journey between Route 101, Oldale Town and Route 103, was rather a bit boring than interesting.

They only encounter two wild Pokémon on the way to Route 10, a male Wurmple, a male Zigzagoon. Said the Pokémon nurse, as Jade receives her Ember back, and they immediately leave the Pokémon Center, and went up to Route 103, which is also boring, as this time no other wild Pokémon ambushed them. "Sure, let's do this." said Jade, as she also brings her Pokéball.

"Let's do this, Torchic!" said Jade, as she summons her Ember.

"Looks like, this one will do. Go, Mudkip!" said Brendan, as he summons his male Mudkip. After Brendan summons his Mudkip, Jade's confidence dropped, as even she knows that water type are super effective against fire type, despite this she hopes that Mudkip doesn't learn a water type move as early as level 5.

"Scratch!" shouted Jade, as Ember uses her claws to scratch Brendan's Mudkip. "Mudkip use Tackle!" shouted Brendan, as Mudkip attacks Ember with a body blow. Then the next turn and the next turn and the next turn, they only exchanges scratches and tackles until the very end, thanks to Ember's speed, she became victorious.

"Well, that is unexpecting." said Brendan, as he accepts being last place.
