First day with Julia, Meeting with Wayne

A/N: ah, there's so many good stories here on chyoa. I get distracted and don't write for a while, lose momentum. Anyway, here's another chapter. It's about time we do something about that jalopy.

You head back to the Willis Automotive plant and park your jalopy in the lot, determined to do something about that today. Even if it means taking out a loan. Your pay is decent, having gotten a bit of a raise too with your promotion to HR, so it won't be too much of a hit on the ol' pocket book, as long as the terms are agreeable. You swipe your badge and instead of heading to your office, you decide to make a beeline to Wayne's. The door is open and you notice Wayne's head is down on some paperwork with a focus. You knock on his door, which causes Wayne to look up.

"Oh, hey John. Mornin'. You settling in to your new office okay?" Wayne says as he stops writing and addresses you. "Actually Wayne, I was hoping to talk to you about something personal if you don't mind and have a few minutes." You state. "Of course, but I'm a bit busy now. You mind swingin' by around..." Wayne pauses, and calls to his secretary, "Scarlett, do I have 30 minutes on my calendar this afternoon?" The nasally voice of Scarlett replies, "I can move your 2:30 with Deborah if that's okay with you sir." Wayne nods. "Yeah, let's do that then. 2:30 for ya there, John. Anything else?"

You shake your head. "No. Thanks for making time out for me Wayne." "My pleasure, it's anytime. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some more work get to here."Wayne replies as he puts his head and pen back to the stack of papers. You excuse yourself from Wayne's office and head to your own and take off your jacket. You log onto the computer and hit up the Whitman site to learn and talk to the Whitman candidate Bianca's been scoping out and tell him you'll find someone to meet him at the airport and let him know who it will be. Lastly, you search candidates through outdood and cross reference them with members on the porn site. Sure enough there's a couple hits and you send the names of the profiles to Bianca via private message on the Whitman site.

Julia shows up in your doorway about 15 minutes before you have to meet Wayne. She is wearing a blazer, extremely short skirt, pantyhose, and high heels. She looks gorgeous. "Hey John." Julia says, crossing her legs, "How are you doing on your first day? Thought I'd see if you had anything you needed. Perhaps a proper welcome?" Man, you made the right choice with Julia here. You think, "Honestly, I don't know yet beyond basic supplies. I do need to meet with Wayne here soon but I would like that tomorrow if that's okay with you." Julia nods with a smile. "Of course. Don't keep the boss man waiting." Julia replies as she steps out of your office to allow you passage.

You then head to Wayne's office right on time. "John!" Wayne exclaims, "Come on in. What can I do for you, son?" You step in to his office and close the door, taking a seat. "Alright, first thing is Society business. Bianca's found another candidate to fly out here." You say. "Well that's just swell. I'll look forward to meeting them on the next gathering. Say, why don't you do the honors of introducing them to our little society when they get to the plant? It'll be good practice for you as future head of the Whittmen. Don't worry, I'll be right there be your side to guide you in your conversation, and we'll have plenty of practice between us two before the week's end."

"Yeah, that sounds great Wayne. I'd like a Single whittwoman to greet our candidate though. There's no such thing as that first impression." You reply. "I completely agree. I'll send out Haley to meet him. I know she'll make a good impression if you know what I mean." Wayne replies. "In fact I should have Julia get you set up with a company credit card so you can fly out candidates as easily as Bianca. I'll have Bianca actually be put under your card and help build out your credit." Wayne follows through.

"Actually that'll help me with the second reason I came to see you. I was wondering if the company offers an employee discount on a Willis Automobile. It's about time I get rid of my junker, and a Willis Automobile is an excellent vehicle. I should know, I've made one." You say. "Wayne nods, "Yep, we sure do. However that ain't my department, I'll set you up with one of my sales people in the morning tomorrow, bright and early. Hell, we can even custom make your new ride." You smile at Wayne's response. "Well, I don't think I can afford a custom car yet Wayne, I'll have to take out a loan just for this one. But that's okay."

"Alright son, I'll clear off my schedule for a half hour a day where you'll be practicing the history and rules of the Whittmen to tell our new guest." Wayne turns in his chair and pulls a book off his shelf, handing it to you. "Here, you can borrow this to study at the house so you're better prepared. You nod, "Thanks Wayne. See you tomorrow." You say as you stand up and open the door, walking out. "You bet." Wayne replies.
