First day of training

As you wake up the next day with a good night's sleep and a day of adventures behind you, you get ready for your first day of training at your new club.

As you enter your training facilities you're marvelled at the size of the facility and grounds. Compared to your previous amateur club, this was a massive upgrade for you.

You're greeted by some club members who show you the facility first and then you're guided to the locker room.

You quickly get into your training gear and head to the practice field where you already see the rest of the team doing some warm up sessions.

You're quickly greeted by the gaffer (English word for football coach) as you step foot on the training ground.

"Welcome to the club Alex Conrad. I hope you had enough time to settle in to your new home and this city." The gaffer says.

"Loving the new experience gaffer, can't wait to get started,"

"So I wanted to speak to you about your role in the team. I've seen your footage and think you've a very bright future. But this season you'll be sharing your time training with the first team and reserves. You'll be called in some lesser important games in the league, whenever not required where you'll play with the reserves. Do well and you'll spend more time here than at the reserves. Is that clear?

"Absolutely, I'll do my best. Won't disappoint you gaffer."

"Brilliant then, spend some time today getting to know your teammates and involved in the drills."

You quickly get on the pitch and start with the drills. You meet and greet with the senior players as you train.

After a few hours of intense training, drills and practice match, you come out for the training and hit the showers with the rest of the team.

"Good game kid!"

"Great technique, you're going to do well here!"

"Great goal!"

All the team mates complimented you as you head into the dressing room.
