First, taking care of the marriage interview... But then something else happens.

Going to Ignis Ford Dustiness's place was actually quite the treat for Kazuma and Aqua. Ignis was a nice enough old guy, who wanted the best for his daughter, though he was also trying to balance that with the family name. Once Kazuma had his face though, it was easy enough to write in the Note that he would allow Darkness to live as she pleased and turn a blind eye to her adventuring activities, and never find out she was Kazuma's very willing sex slave, never bothering her with trying to marry her off again.

Balter Barnes Alexi was, as Kazuma had been told, rather kind and polite of an individual. It was such a stark contrast from his father that Kazuma had a REALLY hard time believing the two were related. Then Darkness told him privately that he had been adopted. "Oh, that makes sense," he had said. Regardless, using the Note to ensure Balter turned down the proposal of both parents was easy, though Kazuma also made sure to ensure that Balter would not be influenced by whatever form of control Derp was using on Sena... While also making him a boy toy for Ria. Might as well give the guy something nice, even if it did involve being dominated by a sex goddess. Seriously, the guy was being cheated out of a very lovely bride, and he deserved a bit of enjoyment in life, just for being around Derp without turning out like him.

Other than all of that, not much else of note had occured. It was an enjoyable trip, and they had been treated to a nice dinner, but the time to go home had come. "Thanks for helping me Kazuma," Darkness sighed in relief. "I never would have been happy in a relationship with Balter. Granted, he is a kind man, but I seriously doubt he'd easily indulge my desires..."

"I imagine that in another time, I might have tried to get you hitched to him as well," Kazuma admitted. "If only to ensure your safety, but honestly, losing the first member of my harem doesn't appeal to me," he remarked.

"Good thing I used the Note on you then," she giggled.

They arrived back at the mansion to find Megumin in a panic. "Kazuma, we got trouble!" she stated.

"What NOW!?" he protested.

"Can't catch a break, can you? High luck stat my perfect ass," Ria snorted.

"That prosecutor lady!" Megumin replied. "She's here, and she doesn't look happy!"

"Kazuma Sato!" Sena shouted, storming up to the front of the manor.
