Fire alarm

A piercing sound assaults my ears, a note so high as to be almost undetectable, combined with a lower buzzing. It pulses in waves, emanating from one corner of the room, a blinking device high up on the wall.

"Fire alarm!" says the man. "Shit. Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!" He rips off the executioner's hood--revealing an attractive face not much older than Tracey or me--and starts fumbling through a ring of keys that was dangling against the wall. Finding the one he wants, he comes over and unlocks Tracey's wrist shackles, then mine.

I groan and stretch. All my muscles ache.

"Come on!" he says urgently. "We need to figure out where to go."

"Don't you know?" asks Tracey suspiciously. "You're an employee here, right?"

The man shakes his head. "No. This is my experience. I went through assessment, like I assume you did."

I try the door to the hallway. Fortunately, it isn't locked. Poking my head out, I see an exit sign at the end of the corridor to my right and breathe a sigh of relief. "That way!" I say. The three of us walk towards it, then turn left at the intersection, guided by a second sign. All the while, the alarm continues to bellow. We don't see another living human being, which seems strange.

The signs direct us into a stairwell, up a couple of flights, and down another hallway. Finally, we come to an emergency exit. Tracey pushes the handlebar and leads us outside. I look around in mild confusion at the open grassy field spreading out a few dozen meters until it hits the tree line. We must have come out behind, on the far side from the main entrance facing the street.

"Let's get away from the building," says the man. Somewhere along the way, he has lost his loincloth. His complete nudity matches our own, impressive cock darkened with blood and fully extended. I can't really blame him for that, surrounded as he is by two naked lovelies.

Our group retreats into the field until the distant sound of the fire alarm fades away entirely. There is still not a single soul in sight.

"Well, that was exciting," sighs the man.

"No smoke," I say, looking back at the structure looming overhead. "Probably a false alarm?"

"Probably," he agrees. "I suppose we should go around to the front. That's likely where everyone else is gathered." His voice drops to a mutter. "Though I can't say I'm crazy to be showing up like this."

"Hmm, is there a rush?" says Tracey with a look in her eye I don't like. "While no one's around, maybe we have time for a few...extracurriculars."
