Nick's PoV

I lift my head from the plates and I notice the two of them going at it - Licking each other - and back up.

"Oh, gross. Come on guys, I'm right here!" Despite my protests I haven't actually interjected to stop them. I also find it hard to look away. "This... isn't normal. But I guess you aren't humans right now... ugh."

I start digging into my own food, and I have to say despite this being a ready-meal it was quite delicious. I wonder how the flavours from it would compare to what my pets were eating ... but not enough to try pet food to compare.

Then the thought hits me - it's not a pet food! - what a strange thought. It is a human food obviously, but I recoil at the though of eating it now because I consider it a "pet food" now. How quickly my mind got twisted!

I finish my food and gather the plate to throw it out. I see that Chip finished eating but Daisy is still finishing up, so I get up and put Chip's muzzle on so that she can finish eating in peace and without distractions.

I leave for a kitchen to throw out the single use plates and when I come back into a room again food's all gone. I figured I'll take them back into the kitchen later, and get the walk over with first.

After I get the muzzle on Daisy, I attach the leashes to the both of them and tug on them lightly.

"Alright, walk time!" I lead you two to the patio door and open it then motion for you to go ahead. "Let's take it nice and slow, yeah?"

Branching more than usual!

Heyo! Another author started contributing to this story for which I'm super grateful. Big thanks to camoti4837 for making the story grow! His writing is very good, and he also kept with the PoV style of the story which I'm supper happy with!

I feel like both ways are worth exploring but the main difference is that "Mom doesn't feel right" branch have hypnosis in it, while the first two do not. Also from technical point of view, in my branches if you wanted to read both points of view, you followed the first choice, while here you would want to follow the second one.

Either path you choose I hope you enjoy the story!
