Finish up at the beach.

At the camp, everybody dresses themselves back in their normal clothes. They put their swimsuits and other supplies into bags, and start setting up to sleep the night. You're not the only one that looks exhausted, though you're definitely the one that went through the most. Once everyone finishes preparations to sleep, the group sits around the open flame and faces the awkwardness that sadly must follow such an encounter. People look at one another bashfully--not only fully aware of everything that happened, but also aware that the concoction only pushed on feelings they already had.

Dajy puts a hand on her head. "I can't believe I was controlled again. I was saved once more by my hero Kyle." She looks up to you. "Thank you."

"It's no pro--"

You're interrupted by Eva as she quickly shouts, "But forget this whole night happened!"

Alice nods. "Y-Yes please."

"Why?" Delphi grins wide. "I'll treasure it forever, and make sure to bring it up all the time."

Snow has her face buried in her hands. "No, no, please don't."

The group bickers for some time. There's nothing easily said about what happened. The only thing people can do is move on. Though you feel pretty confident that most if not all of them enjoyed the experience and just don't want to admit it. It's eventually time for bed, though. You start preparing a roll to sleep on when Nyllia finds you, and with the two of you alone, she gives you a smile.

"I'm sorry that I--" you start to say.

Nyllia places a finger on your lips. "You truly are a hero. And I should be the one to apologize. If things became too dangerous, I was ready to step in, but I really wanted to see what you could do. I can see potential in you, Kyle."

"What do you mean? I'm confused."

She turns on her heel and starts stepping away. "I thought that people knew templars heavily resisted magical effects, but I suppose not."

The reality hits you after she disappears from view, and it makes your face burn hot.
