Finish the poochyena

You decided you weren't interested in this particular pokemon.

"You're almost there, Ace, one more hit like those last two!"

Ace darted forwards at your command, and hit the poochyena in the side of the head just as it turned around, its own movement only adding to the impact. The wild pokemon was knocked to the ground, and didn't get back up this time.

You took a moment to make sure it was still breathing fine. Even if it had attacked you, you would have felt bad about killing a pokemon. But it was just knocked out, so you picked up your treecko and continued on your way. "Good job, Ace! We won our first battle."

Ace held his head high and gave a smug look as the pair of you walked into Oldale Town.

There wasn't really much to Oldale Town, just a few houses, a pokemart, and a pokecenter. You caught a glimpse of red disappearing down the north path out of town, and there was also a route to the west.

You stopped by the pokecenter since you were here anyways, and thought about your plans while Ace was being looked at by the nurses.
