Finish the fight. (And bank those sweet, sweet Style Points.)

You rappel down to the ground. Now that all surviving team members are touching the ground in the ballroom, a door bursts open, and the boss enemy lumbers into the room. A massive duplicate of the same enemy terrorist model, holding the Quest NPC in front of him as a human shield. The way this boss fight is probably intended to work is that players would come at him from different directions, shooting him in the back and trying not to hit the V.I.P. he was clutching in front of him.

But before he can do that, he's programmed to stomp to the center of the room and deliver a taunt. And there seems to be the massive wreckage of a chandelier in the way. He just kinda walks in place when he starts colliding with it, unable to reach the center of the room but not smart enough to realize why.

One by one, you lob each of your hand grenades behind him. They stack up in a neat little pile on the floor, more concerned with enabling your accuracy than with simulating realistic physics. It's hard enough to get players to select these things in the first place, after all, when even easier-to-use options exist.

The grenades explode, and the VIP runs in place towards the chandelier while the boss screams and crumples to his knees. Then, once his **** animation finishes, the VIP lurches for a moment, before sort of teleporting through him, standing at the bottom of the ballroom's Grand Staircase.

"Thank goodness your team got here in time," she says. "All of you, follow me!"

The massive double doors at the top of the stairs slowly open, revealing a hallway full of pillars, and a gauntlet of enemy snipers and guards. In the distance, far at the top of yet another staircase, you can barely make out the spinning blades of a helicopter, up on some sort of rooftop party terrace.

You wrap your arm around the NPC's waist before she can run up the stairs into danger. "Fucking escort missions," you grumble. But since there's no way in hell you're giving up all these hard-earned Style Points...

You take careful aim and fire the rappelling hook. Looks like you accounted for the drop just perfectly. it sails through the weird pillar hallway, through the open glass doors leading to the terrace, and attaches to the wall of the helicopter.

You Power-Dash into the air, and retract your rappelling hook. Dozens of atmosphere-enhancing terrorist voice samples trigger in rapid succession as they all fire their guns or throw grenades. You don't even take any damage. The NPC dies upon impact, of course, but that's not a problem.

You smack into the side of the Helicopter, now holding the NPC in a fireman's carry. You set her down, Revive her, and then touch the side of the Chopper.
