Chapter 6

What do you do to her?
Finish Her
Deciding you have enough with the Warrior, and seeing her burning with hate, most likely directed towards you, you decide to just finish her off, and claim the exp. Raising your hand in a dramatic way, you cause your robes to flutter. Hearing this, the Rogue's attention snaps to you, standing in front of her. Gathering mana in your hand, a dark flame sparks to life, causing an intense heat, although it doesn't harm you in the slightest. The Rogue, however, has no such luck. At point black range, you fire a Dark Fireball into her face. The first shot landed squarely and caused her hp to be cut down by a third. Getting hit she started to curse loudly, but calmly you shoot fire two more Dark Fireballs and finish her off.
After killing her, you aren't terribly surprised when it didn't level you as you had just leveled up in the incident before, and if you had knocked her out that easily, she wouldn't be a high level. Glad that you don't have to deal with that Rogue anymore, you walk over to the still dazed Warrior. Looking at her appearance, you go out towards the entrance of the dungeon, into a side-room where a lonesome and small fountain was located. It was a paltry thing, only meant to be a decoration. With patience, you wet a piece of discarded cloth you picked on the way, wet it, and returned to the Warrior and cleaned her up.
As you finished, you begin to think on what to do now that you have actual strength. To kill that Rogue required 3 Dark Fireball's, which at the moment was the limit of what you could cast. To recover the entirety of your 36 mana, was 3 minutes, not usable at all during combat. Thinking on it, you decide to go do some tests. You check the bindings on the Warrior, lay her on some usable cushions, taken from the discarded pews, and go towards the entrance to find the brainless mobs that also took residence in the dungeon.
Your first encounter a small group of skeletons. There were two swordsman both equipped with a chipped long sword in one hand, tattered shield in the other. The third was a skeleton mage, equipped with a black staff that looked like a large, charred walking stick.
You want to find out how to intercept heroes from now on, and most preferably, find a way to easily defeat them. To do that, you're going to need experience.Approaching them, you decide on what method to use.
You can use Raise Dead to intercept the mobs, and while they are distracted, use Heal to support your minions, and attack from the rearguard using a weapon, which at the moment was the twin daggers the rogue used, or the bow and a quiver full of 12 arrows.
Another is to use the twin daggers, take the vanguard yourself, summon a mage or rogue to attack from the rearguard, and focus on distracting the enemy, relying on your Heal, to support you and your summon.
However, there is the third option of just doing what you do best. Be a Dark Dark Priest and take on the attackers head on, although that's what you've been doing till now, and look where it's gotten you before this day.
What method do you decide to use?
