Finding out her Punishment

“To recap,” Tammi the chapter President addressed the room. All of the sisters were seated in sofas and chairs. Mallory stood alone in the center of the room.

“Sister Donovan it has been reported that at a party two weeks ago you knowingly hooked up with someone who was in a committed relationship with one of your sisters in this sorority. This is a fact you do not refute.”

“Correct, Sister.” Mallory tried to keep her head up despite the guilt she felt.

“With these actions you have brought the Sorority into a bad light. We have been the subject of rumors and gossip since the incident. But that issue is small compared to the immense pain and suffering you have caused a fellow sister. In violating Sister Wolfe’s trust by knowingly sleeping with her boyfriend, you have violated the trust of every person in this Sorority who calls you Sister. We have debated the facts of what happened and are prepared to issue you what we believe to be a fair and equal punishment. Should you choose not to accept it you will be formally expelled from this sisterhood. Is that understood?”

Mallory breathed a small sigh of relief. If they were giving her the option it meant she wasn’t going to be automatically expelled… but she was worried about what this punishment would be.

“I will accept any punishment the Sisters offer me with the dignity and grace that a Member of this Sorority should have.” The brunette stared down her chapter president trying to convey sincerity and confidence. She wasn’t sure it was working, but it was the best she could do.

“After much debate we have decided your punishment will be threefold.” Tammi said as she checked her notes to confirm everything she was about to say. “1. For the next 6 months you will remain completely sober. No **** or **** so that you may learn your lesson about overconsumption. 2. You will refrain from any sexual activity with another partner for the next 6 months so that you may learn how to control your own urges.”

Another sigh of relief. 1 and 2 had been things she had been expecting. Now as for 3…

“3. In order to understand the embarrassment you have caused this Sorority, you will now embarrass yourself. This Saturday at sunset you will report to this house. At that time you will be stripped of all of your clothes. You will then proceed naked from this house to Fraternity Row and back.”

“But that’s the entirety of campus?” Mallory couldn’t help but blurt out as Tammi finished reading the 3 punishment.

“I believe that is the point. Maybe in that exercise you will learn some much needed humility.”

Mallory swallowed as she thought about what this all meant.

“Yes Sister.”
